Hexagon Pop-Up Card with Tabs Tulips Tutorial

Hi everyone, Tamara here with my first tutorial.

I decided to make this cute tulip card, that I really love for any occasion.

you can find it in the SVG Shop and in Silhouette store. (SVG / Silhouette)

Let’s get started!

All the parts that you have to cut with your machine.

the Strip with the design paper panels.

Part 1 glued together.

Part 2 goes in the middle slot

For part 3 I colored the the yellow part of the tulips with red PanPastel, but you can any sort of coloring medium like pencils or ink.

Part 3 glued together.

Part 1 goes in the slot in front of part 2.

Part 3 goes behind part 2 in the last open slot.

This is how it should look from the side now.

The last part is putting the strip around the bottom of the card.

I put some glue on the tab and the placed it around the bottom and glued it together.

The dotted paper I used for the panels is from Doodle Bug Design.

This is the end result of this great new card.

I love it, but as a Dutchie I love Tulips any day.

Hi everyone! Chelsea here! I think spring has finally hit South Dakota! We have had a lot of rain so far this spring and my cute little grandson has become aquainted with puddle jumping and who can resist taking pictures of him puddle jumping? Not this Mimi!! And all the green in the photo and his red shirt matches the Little Ladybug line that Lori designed for Echo Park Paper.

I used the Nested Scallop Circle cuts to make my little red accent piece (SVG, Silhouette). Anytime I can add little accents pieces out of basic shapes I think it adds a fun little twist on things and shows that not every layout needs to be fancy.

I splattered some black paint and used some ephemra to embelish the page using some dimentionals.
