Valentine Trio

Hi everyone!  Cathy here with you today to share a Valentine Trio of Treat Holders created by Lori Whitlock!  I used papers and stickers from 3 of Echo Park’s collection designed by Lori…Fine & Dandy, We Are Family, and Here & Now.  I needed to create Valentines for my favorite little people.  I know they will love these!  I used the 3d heart cracker box, 3d heart pocket and the adorable 3d mini mailbox files.  These are all linked to the Silhouette Design Store!

The 3D heart cracker box is so cute and easy to put together.  Just one row of adhesive, tie one end and fill will candy…then tie the other end!

And how cute is this 3D mini mailbox?  And again so easy to put together!  Really, you can make all of these in no time at all and have a jump start on all of your Valentine goodies.

Lots of room for all kinds of candies and chocolate!

Next up, this fun 3D heart pocket!  Gorgeous and ready to fill with treats!

There is so much room, that I still need to go buy more goodies to put inside and keep some others from sneaking treats early!

Vintage Screen Card with Cathy

Hi Everyone!  Cathy here with you today sharing a couple of cards created with Lori’s Carta Bella Yesterday Collection.  The first one features her new Screen Card with Flowers.  I am loving these new screen cards, there are 3 different ones to choose from; a wedding and baby cards along with this flower one.  Lots of fun layers with the Carta Bella Yesterday papers and embellishments.  You have four different screens to decorate….I chose to decorate three and will write my sentiment of the fourth screen.  I also chose to add the flowers included in the file on the third screen instead of the front.    The fun border on the bottom of the entire card was cut using a Designer Die from Carta Bella called Yesterday Edges.

And while I was in the vintage mood, I created on more card using A2 Tabbed Card & Sleeve Scalloped.  How cute is this file?!  Love the scallops and fun little envelope….perfect for turning the journaling cards in the collection into cute cards!

Merry and Bright Shadowbox with Cathy

Hi Lori Whitlock fans…Cathy here with you today and I have a quick last minute gift idea to share with you!  I created a shadow box with one of Lori’s Christmas Phrase Set 1!  I know that this isn’t the most original idea out there but they are really quick and easy to make.  Lori Whitlock has so many wonderful phrase sets that the possibilities are endless for creating these shadowboxes.

I started with and 8×8 white shadow box and added an 8×8 piece of black chalkboard paper from Lori’s Echo Park Christmas Cheer collection.  Just adhere this piece to the back of your frame.  Next, fill your frame with tiny ornaments or jingle bells.

I cut the Merry and Bright out of gold metallic Oracle 631 vinyl.  I scaled it down to the size you can see below.  The preset vinyl setting on the Silhouette cuts is beautifully with a nice sharp blade.  Weed your vinyl and transfer the saying onto the transfer paper.    Then just adhere it where you want it to be and just like that you are done!  Easy Peasy!

Such a super cute set!  If I need another last minute gift, I will use the Jingle all the Way and fill it full of multi colored jingle bells!

And as I mentioned earlier, that Lori has so many phrases that the possibilities are endless for these shadowboxes!

Corri Garza- Poinsettia Flower Pot

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing my version of Lori’s Poinsettia Flower Pot Card.

I love the dimensional look of the flowers.  This would be a great way to gift a gift card…you could should use a glue dot to attach the card to the pull out portion of the card.

I used paper from the Christmas Cheer Collection from Echo Park.  I love the addition of black to the traditional Christmas colors.  The tag is from the element sticker sheet.  I sprinkled the back with baby powder so it wouldn’t stick to the front of the card.
