Do you need a last minute gift for someone on your list? Why not give the gift of money in the most adorable package ever? These money roll boxes and gift bags go together very quickly! We have an assembly tutorial that you can view HERE. This is seriously one of my kid’s favorite gifts I have ever given them. The 4 new money roll boxes/bags are on sale 25% off this week in the shop.

To make them, simply tape bills end to end and roll them up. Add the “Pull Here” tab to the last bill and put the roll inside the box with the little tab hanging out of the slit. Then, place the box filled with Christmas cash in the darling little bag that is included. The recipient will be delighted as they pull the tab to reveal a roll of money.

Colorful Christmas Tags with Traci

Hey there friends! Traci here and today I’m sharing a project that is something we all use this time of year – gift tags! These are simple, so much fun to make, and add a sweet little handmade touch to your presents. They’re also a quick craft project if you’re short of time this holiday season.

I used Lori’s Essential Christmas Tag Bundle cutting file (SVG, Silhouette: Tree, Snowman, Gift, Snowflake) and it’s awesome! There are 12 designs to choose from and I love them all.

The Christmas tree tag might be my favorite. I added lots of enamel dots in a variety of sizes for the ornaments and included some yellow twine at the top.

The snowman is so handsome with his plaid scarf and top hat. You could use this one any time during the winter season … like for a birthday, thank you, get well, or thinking of you.

Tie these colorful tags to a gift bag, a bottle of wine, a basket of goodies, a wrapped box, or maybe a plant or poinsettia you’re giving someone.

You can also use these in your scrapbooking. Add them to a page for decoration or use the backside for journaling or as a photo mat for small pictures.

I chose a plain textured card stock for my tags but patterned papers would look great too. Add rhinestones, stickers, die cuts, or any embellishment. Have fun with these!

Double Sliding Thank You Card

Hello Everyone! Anita here with a fun holiday thank you card. I am always so appreciative of being thought of at this time of year and Lori has this great Double Sliding Card Thank You (SVG, Silhouette) which I assembled to send out to a special couple of people.

3D Christmas Tree Favor Box Tutorial

Hi there paper crafting friends! It’s Michelle Starcher, aka the Bookish Designer, hopping onto the Lori Whitlock blog to walk you through the steps to create Lori’s 3D Christmas Tree Favor Box (SVG, Silhouette). This adorable little Christmas tree is perfect for gifting and sure to make your recipient smile.

I used my SIlhouette Cameo 4 to cut the pieces for the 3D Christmas Tree Favor Box. I was able to use paper scraps for the majority of the project. In fact, I only used one piece of “new” paper for the entire project. I used a full-size 12×12 piece of cardstock to cut the pieces to make the tree boxes. Although the file showed the pieces in two different colors of green, I made them the same color.

Once all of the pieces were cut, I inked the edges of the patterned paper I used for the tree using Distress Ink. Next, I used my tape gun to adhere the patterned pieces to the top of the outside tree box as shown below. (The outside tree box is the bigger of the two green pieces and has two triangles.) Once I had the patterned paper attached, I folded both tree box pieces along the score lines and added adhesive tape to the tabs. Next, I built the two tree boxes by folding along the score lines and attaching the tabs to close the boxes on three sides.

Next, I used double-sided adhesive tape to stack the three red circles to create the tree skirt base for the 3D Christmas Tree Favor Box. Then, I built the brown tree trunks using the same method as the tree boxes. Once I folded along the score lines and added adhesive, I put the two tree trunks together. The larger of the two serves as the base, so once I finished putting it together, I adhered it to the center of the red circles.

Before adding my decorations to the front of the tree, I used adhesive tape to attach the second, smaller brown box to the base of the inside tree box. Finally, I used the stars from the cut file along with enamel dots to decorate the front of the tree. If you don’t want to use enamel dots, you can always use the circles that come in the cut file instead.
