February Blog Hop

Have you missed seeing our Creative Team goodness this week? Well, we have a lot of talent to share with you today. Lori has recently released some double page layouts in both SVG and Digital Scrapbooking/PSD format. I want you to see what you can do with these different files and our creative team has so happily obliged, told you they were the best.

First the SVG’s, these files are designed to be used with Silhouette machines and can be found here in Lori’s shop. After opening the file you will see how the layout is assembled. Ungroup the pieces, sort and cut from your favorite pattern paper/cardstock. Assemble all pieces onto background paper (not included in cutting file) and VOILA, a beautiful layout to add to your scrapbook. Pieces can be moved around and placed/used any way your heart desires.

SVG FILES in Lori’s Shop

IF you are not a die cut kind of paper crafter, these files also come as digital scrapbooking kits, and are found at here at Jessica Sprague . They have been created as layered PSD’s, which means you can use the pieces as clipping masks in Photoshop Elements and Photoshop. These are ready for you to add your favorite pattern papers, ribbons and photos and the layouts are done.

PSD FILES in the Jessica Sprague Store

We created these layouts with the idea that you could throw these into your Project Life albums and mix it up a bit. The smaller photos slots are 3×4, which is a perfect fit for any of Lori’s Life Cards in her shop both here and at Jessica Sprague.

Without further ado, please let me show you the order of our blog hop today. These ladies are truly amazing and have shown you different ways to use these layouts, both digital format and SVG’s.  When you are done be sure to come back here and leave a comment so you can be entered in our drawing for a $20 gift card to Lori’s shop. She has amazing shapes there and more coming each week.

Christmas Traditions with Mendi

Today Mendi has an adorable layout showcasing her Christmas traditions. Thanks for giving us a sneak peek.

Mendi says, “For this layout I had so much fun using Lori’s shapes in unexpected ways to work perfectly for me.  I was able to transform a Valentine’s day border and give it a Christmas spin.  For my title, I pieced together three of Lori’s separate titles to create a completely new phrase to match what I had envisioned in my head.  Lastly I took a basic label shape and enlarged it to serve as my page background.  It’s so rewarding when you can get extra mileage out of the shapes you’ve purchased!  I hope I have inspired you to play with your cutting files and look at them in a new light.”

As always Mendi, this is beautiful. Be sure to check out her blog as she has pictures and info on her blog.

Are You Ready for Christmas?

I have some eye candy to share with you, but before I show you, I want to tell you about our Happy Holidays Sale. So you can buy all the shapes you see here, and in the shop, for 25% off your $5 or more order. What a great Christmas present for yourself. I do that sometimes, do you? Better yet, grab some cute packaging for your gift cards and small gifts. I loved the reaction I got last week from my parents when I gave them presents in the “Gift Card Holder Horizontal”. They loved the packaging almost more than their birthday gifts, which made the present even better.

Today Natalie shares some beautiful projects with us as we near Christmas. I have loved seeing our Creative Team’s projects this month. They have all been amazing. Each day I think this one is the best, but then I get another project. I can not pick my favorite. I want one of each, todays projects included. Natalie has used the “Gift Card Holder Horizontal” and “Gift Card Holder Vertical.”

“Gingerbread House Treat Box”

Natalie created a digital Daily December album then made this cute cover from paper and SVG files from the shop.

Natalie has so many more pictures and information on her blog, so be sure you go check them out.

YOU MAKE ME HAPPY LAYOUT

by Shirlee Keddington

by Jenn McCabe using Lori’s Christmas Eve Collection, which also coordinates with her Christmas Day Collection

Our Lisa Barrie created this beauty with this template! She always amazes me at what she can put together and have it look so perfect. She has used the Patriotic Picnic Collection as well as the Happy Day Collection and Lazy Summer Days and finally the Flourish Brushes from Lori.

LIFE IS GOOD LAYOUT

by Tracy King using Lori’s Fall Fling Collection

and would you like to see what our own Lisa Barrie has created with these templates? She always impresses me! And has wonderful tutorials on her blog, check it out here.

I love, love, LOVE how she incorporated the arrows from the other template and truly made this template her own with lots of added details. Templates can be a great starting point. For this layout she used Echo Park’s Charming collection designed by Lori.

Don’t forget ALL of Lori’s digital kits (Echo Park kits included) are 40% at Jessica Sprague until the end of the year.

Creative Team Member Natalie

I LOVE this project by Natalie. So fun and spooky! She used Lori’s “Spooky Banner” file and made such a great banner.

I love how she used such bright papers and made it ‘happy’ if you will. Great Job!

Natalie also created Lori’s Halloween Bottles, which I love. She used the “Warlock Root Bottle,” “Witch Hazel Bottle,” “Spider Legs Tin,” “Eye’s of Newt Canister,” and “Ground Bat Wings” and decorated them in such a cute way, or should that be spooky. I LOVE what you did Natalie. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
