Gingerbread Dollhouse

Do you love making gingerbread houses this time of year? Have you tried making any of Lori’s Paper Houses? They are so much fun to make. This cute gingerbread dollhouse has been added to Lori’s shop and Silhouette this week!

I used Lori’s Little Lumberjack collection from Echo Park to make my rendition of the Gingerbread Dollhouse.

There is still time to make some cute houses!  Have fun!

Merry Christmas Shadow Box Card

Last year at this time, I was sipping cocoa and watching Christmas movies. This year however, I’m struggling to find time to get it all done. I need fast and simple, which is why I chose this box card and let my machine do all of the work. This 5X7 Merry Christmas Shadow Box Card can be found at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop as well as at Silhouette Design Store.

This card folds flat for mailing, and can stand up to be displayed when the recipient takes it out of the envelope.

I love my cutting machine. If I only had a machine to wrap my gifts, I’d be all set!

Merry Christmas!

Gatefold Wreath Card Tutorial

Hello Everyone:

I hope that everyone is enjoying the most magical time of the year.  I have a tutorial for all of you today on how to put together Lori’s Gatefold Wreath Card.  I love Lori’s Gatefold cards and even used one of hers to make all the wedding invitations for my son and daughter-in-law.  They are so elegant and so easy to put together.  You can find this Gatefold Wreath Card file here in Lori’s store and here in the Silhouette store.  I used one of Lori’s new Echo Park Paper collections called My Favorite Christmas.

Here is a photo of the cut file pieces.  You want to start by adding the square insert inside the folded card base.

Here are the ribbon pieces folded along their score lines. Glue together the overlapping ends of the bow. Next glue the flat ribbon segment to back of the formed bow and lastly wrap the center around both piece using a tiny bit of glue on both sides.

I slipped the band on the folded card and added some embellishments which are a wonderful part of this collection.

Here is the last photo which is a close up of the embellishments.

That’s it for me today.  Have a great day and be sure to check out Lori’s gatefold card cut files.

Hugs,

Anita

Christmas Gnome Boxes

Hello crafty friends! Aimee here with you today to share these adorable little Gnome boxes. Ashley had a tutorial on how to put these guys together last Thursday. So today I wanted to share with you on how to dress these them up  and get them ready to go spread some yuletide cheer.
You can find these cute little guys in the Lori Whitlock shop or in the Silhouette Design Studio (here and here). With a little pattern paper, stickers, and a pom pom they will be ready to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I sized these two bigger so they are big enough to hold a full bottle of Bath and Body Works hand soap. Here are the measurements of each so you know you have sized it big enough. Green hat gnome will measure W 11.176, H 9.9193 (Silhouette) and the striped hat gnome will measure W 11.802, H 9.581 (Silhouette).

This little guy was dressed up with a tiny white pom pom and some fabulous Lori Whitlock Christmas Stickers (Lori’s ShopSilhouette)

And this little guy got a holly berry sticker from the Christmas Stickers 3 (Lori’s ShopSilhouette)

Hope you give these adorable boxes a try…everyone will love them! I even got a “these are cute” from my husband!

Thanks for stopping by today!
