New Shapes and a SALE!

Don’t forget about our SALE!  It is a great opportunity to get some new shapes for your paper crafting projects. Sale ends Wednesday! Use code: BDAY25 at checkout for 25% OFF your entire purchase!

Today some new shapes have been uploaded to the site.  Two of these new sets are centered more around a project rather than purely decorative. First is the “Build A Banner” set.  Many different banner shapes are included in this file that mix and match beautifully. You can create an endless combination of super cute banners!

The second is the “Build An Album Set.”  This will help you create a unique album that you can  give a loved one, document a special event or holiday, or a favorite place. With this set you can mix and match all the pages in the same book and binding holes will line up.  You can also add other decorative shapes from the shop to these projects for a different look.  The same album can look different just by changing the embellishments and shapes used.

Of course I can’t forget the new “Life Cards Assortment.”  These go perfectly with Becky Higgins Project Life and add some variety to your layouts. You’ll find some library pocket cards, folded cards as well as some new decorative shaped cards. Check out the new shapes here.

Happy sale shopping!

Strawberries, Life Cards, & a SALE!

Good morning! I hope everyone is ready for a super fun weekend! At my house, both of my daughters have had birthdays this week. Needless to say, I’ve been busy shopping and planning a party that is this afternoon. So, as we mentioned yesterday we want to share the LOVE with all our readers so we’re having a birthday bash SALE through the end of the month. You’ll get 25% OFF your entire order. Simply enter BDAY25 at checkout to receive the discount.

I have two super awesome projects created by the the Creative Team members to share with you. I think these projects will get us in the spring mood. I know I’m ready!

First, I have a darling candy box created by Creative Team Member, Joy to share with you today! She made the Strawberry Box and showcased them in the 4 piece candy box, how clever!

Here’s what Joy has to say:

“Ever since I was eight years old I’ve had a strawberry themed birthday. My Mom started the theme and my best friend/husband still keeps the tradition going. He makes me a strawberry cake with strawberry icing, buys strawberry ice cream and creates a strawberry drink for me every year.  I’ll be enjoying those things this very day since it’s my b’day!  Woo hoo!”

Happy Birthday Joy, thanks for sharing the day and your awesome project with us! Yet another reason to have our little birthday sale this week!

Check out her blog for more detailed instructions.

The second project to share with you is this amazing drawer by Krissy.  She used the 4×6 Life Cards, Doily Banner, Enjoy Life Phrase, Love Phrase and So Happy Together Phrase.

Krissy used the life cards and put them in an old tray that she found for a dollar (she added drawer pulls on the bottom to make feet and decorated the tray with Lori’s “This & That Graceful and Charming” Echo Park collections)

Check out all those GREAT cards!!

You can see Krissy’s post with more details HERE.  Great job ladies!!!!  We love to see your work! Everyone feel free to let these ladies know how awesome their projects are by leaving your comments below.

Project Life Cards

Are you a fan of Becky Higgins’ Project Life? Project Life is an amazing way to organize your photos and preserve your memories. You really should go check it out at Becky Higgins site if you’re not familiar with her system. It takes the stress out of scrapbooking and gives you a plan and a system to put in place. That way you can get those awesome photos off your hard drive and into a book. Thank you Becky for developing Project Life!!

Many of you know that I work with Becky as her Lead Graphic Designer. I’ve been with her since the original Edition and even before. With Becky’s permission I’ve created some 3×4 and 4×6 cutting files to help you personalize, enhance, and embellish your Project Life kit.  Or, if you prefer you can use them in your traditional paper crafting and scrapbooking projects. I hope you enjoy them. You’ll find the 4×6 cards HERE and the 3×4 cards HERE.

Cute Box by Carolyn

Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet the darling and super creative Carolyn King.  Here’s a photo of us at CHA at the Echo Park Booth.  Today I’m excited to share with you her creative talents.

She used the Valentine Box to create a great home organization and teaching tool for her daughter.  The box provides a home for her reading flashcards that she needs to practice everyday.

Here’s what Carolyn has to say about her project:

“The original use of this box is for a Valentine’s box.  You can see the graphic of it HERE.  It is a super cute holder for all those Valentine’s the kids will be getting next week.  I thought it would be fun to take the same exact file and show you another way to use it so that you can see that it isn’t JUSTfor Valentine’s Day!

So, I used the same file (but shrunk it down a bit using my Silhouette Studio Software) and made a flash card box for my 6 year old.  She gets new sight words to study every few weeks and I thought this would be a cute way for her to store the index cards. It makes it easy for her to grab the box and study by herself too.”
I think this is a fantastic idea Carolyn!! Thanks for sharing!! For more photos and instructions check out Carolyn’s blog.
