Summer 2012 CHA Release

Hi everybody. I had this post ready to go yesterday… but due to a delay in Echo Park’s announcement, I’ve held this back for a day…

I’m here in Chicago today for the first day of CHA and I’m so EXCITED to share my new releases! The Echo Park booth is setup and ready to go. I’m heading down in just a few minutes to join the fun. But, before I leave I wanted to post my new collections for Echo Park that are debuting today.

FOR THE RECORD is back by popular demand! FTR was such a hit and we’ve had so many requests for more that we decided to release a For the Record 2. This time we’re releasing 2 color schemes. You can see them below.

To share the excitement and FUN of CHA with everyone at home… let’s do a GIVEAWAY!! I’ll be giving away one complete collection of Tailored and one complete collection of Documented (that includes brads, chipboard, and layered chipboard). To enter to win make sure you’ve signed up for my email updates (to the right) and post a comment (below). I’ll announce the 2 winners next Tuesday! Good luck!

Now for the cute stuff…

Digital Scrapbook Files

Did you know Lori has digital scrapbook kits?  They are now being sold at Jessica Sprague here. I love ALL her digital kits. They make me smile.  Here are just a few of them I have used. Keep in mind, I have collected digital supplies MUCH longer than I have used them. It was a fun opportunity to play with them and so fast, easy and NO clean up!!! My blog has a bit more info if you want to head over there and see them.

This layout uses  “Spring Celebrations Collection”

This layout uses “Blossom”

and finally, “Patriotic Picnic Collection”. I love that this layout can be used for more than patriotic events.

Thanks for visiting today… Lisa

Puzzle Gift

Joy has created this beautiful gift from Lori’s “Puzzle” cutting files. She is so much better at describing this than me, so here you go

“I was so excited to give Lori’s great 12 pc puzzle a try.  First, I printed a photo of my son with a penguin onto thin chipboard.  I love that photo!  We had it taken when we did a behind the scenes tour at Sea World last summer.

After it was finished printing, I stamped directly onto the chipboard with the “You’re One of a Kind” sentiment.  I cut it using my KNK Zing die cut machine.  I’m still learning to use that machine and I had the blade turned up a bit high and didn’t have the cut centered quite right.  Regardless, I think it turned out so cute!  I put in into a clear pillow box, tied it with a ribbon and then added the “Shore do Miss you” sentiment.  I’m sending this to my Mom who lives many hours away.  I think it’s such a cute and unique way to send a happy hello.  Consider using this same idea for invitations!  I’ve done that before and they were a huge hit!
Happy Crafting!

Thanks Joy, this is a great gift for loved ones. Thanks for sharing.
