Valentine Treats by Natalie and a pillow by Christine

Natalie has created the cutest Valentines for her kids. Wanna take a look? She used the Valentine Cards 2 file for the card. Natalie says…

Here’s a treat for you today!  I decided to make a little treat for some of my littles ones friends.  I made some homemade suckers.  And man are they good!
Once wrapped, I cut out the sucker tag. My kids added stickers and signed their names, and well, of course I didn’t get a picture of that!  What a fun little treat!

Natalie has posted the recipe and more details on her blog so be sure and check it out.

Christine has created an adorable pillow with Lori’s Vintage Baby fabric produced by Riley Blake.  It turned out SO cute.  Christine says…

I love using paper with my digital cut files, but for this project, I wanted to do something a little different.  I decided to use my Lori Whitlock die cuts and Silhouette to cut my shapes from fabric.  I had just gotten a bunch of fat quarters of Vintage Baby, which is a fabric line that Lori Whitlock designed for Riley Blake Fabrics, and I thought a small pillow with an appliqué on it would make a nice baby gift.  It is really easy to cut fabric on your Silhouette if you know how, so be sure to check out my blog post for tips and tricks to make your next appliqué project a success.

Valentine Goodies by Mendi and Joy

We have such an amazing Creative Team. They have shared with us many beautiful Valentines Day projects and today is no different. Mendi has this adorable layout for us. She says…

“I had so much fun using Lori’s new Love Story collection and great cutting files on this layout of my little sister’s wedding.  I think it’s become a bit of a personal challenge for me to see how many of Lori’s patterns and cutting files I can fit on a layout without feeling overwhelmingly busy and today I was able to fit 7 different diecuts!  It makes me realize more than ever that next to paper and adhesive, a digital diecutting machine is really a must have tool!   You can see more details about my design at my blog today.”
Here’s a complete list of all the shapes I used:
3 Lace Borders  (Silhouette Store)
You Are Loved Phrase  (Silhouette Store)
Next I have a fun project from Joy. This would make an adorable decoration in your home. Joy has great instructions on her blog so be sure and take a peek. Joy says…
What goes great with any Valentine’s decor?  Candles!  I thought it would be fun to use the Kissy Lips file along with the XOXO from the Valentine’s Set to help me set a festive mood.  I cut the lips and XOXO in alternating pink and red vinyl and then applied them to the votive holders, which I found at my local craft store.  Next, I popped in some votive candles and I was all done!  I just love the way they look on my mantel.  Actually, I like looking at them so much that I keep moving them from room to room!  LOL!  You’ll have fun creating with these files too!

Digital Goodies by Heather and Lisa

Today at Jessica Sprague Lori has a new kit available, Valentine Brushes. This kit will be on sale at Jessica Sprague through the weekend, so be sure and grab it while it is on sale. These brushes are great for both Valentine projects as well as a way to showcase things you love, like Heather did.  She created this beautiful layout. Heather said …

I wanted to use the Valentine Brushes in an unexpected way, so I used them to scrap about my favorite season… Spring. There’s just something about Spring that makes me happy. Warmer weather, brighter colors, and let’s not forget the fabulous flowers! It’s no wonder that Spring makes me smile.
Go check out her blog here for more information.
Lisa also created an adorable project using these brushes.  I love what these 2 have done. Lisa says…

I created a pocket card filled with heart shaped confetti using Lori’s new Valentine brushes and her Kiss Me papers and elements. Come see my blog for tips on how to recreate this project for a Valentine’s Day card or your Valentine Project Life layout.

Valentines by Amanda and Corri

Do you ever handmake Valentine cards for your loved ones? Amanda has given me a reason to think about doing just that. She used Lori’s “love” life card and created these beautiful life cards with solid cardstock. I would love to make one for each of my kids and my hubby and sneak them into their lunches.

Next we have Corri sharing with us the Conversation Heart Box…

I’ve already started thinking about things my kids can give their classmates for Valentine’s Day.

I love this Conversation Heart Box from Lori Whitlock.    This would be so fun filled with some M&Ms or Jelly Beans.  I cut it at full size (finished size if 4″h x 3″w) but you could reduce the size a little and still have plenty of room for treats.

This pretty pattern paper is from the Echo Park – Love Story Collection.  I love this paper….so pretty and it can be used for things other than Valentine’s Day. I embellished my box with some of these flowers and a couple of sticker from the paper collection.
