Another collection Lori designed for Echo Park, that is also available as digital scrapbooking files, is Love Story. Lorrie has created this beautiful shadow box using both the Love Story collection and Lori’s SVG Shadowbox Frame 11.3×11.3

Silhouette Tutorial with Corri: Make Your Own Shaker Card

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing a simple shaker card tutorial.

I used the round rectangle tool to draw a 4″ x 3″w rectangle.

Next, I opened Lori’s new 6 Hearts file and reduced them to fit inside the rectangle.   I ungrouped the hearts and resized them and placed them where I wanted them.

Then do select all (control A) and right click the mouse and pull down to make compound path.

Now you’re  ready to cut.  Cut the card with the hearts from pattern paper.  One plain card from acetate and one from vellum.    Layer the pattern paper on top, then the acetate and the vellum on the back.  Sew around the edge of the layers leaving a small space to fill with sequins.  After they are all inside, you can stitch the space closed.

I cut this new round background at 4-1/2″w and placed it behind my shaker and then added some embellishments.
