Money Holder Card Birthday Balloons Tutorial

Happy Thursday everyone! I loved these new money roll cards so I ran to Amazon and got the plastic holders which can be ordered HERE. I got the Money Holder Bundle for several different designs (SVG). The Silhouette Design store link will be added at a later date.

I got all my pieces cut and ready for assembly. I also used a glue pen and my normal adhesive.

I added my liquid glue on the back side of the face of the card around where the balloons go.
It’s hard to tell in the below photo but I added the patterned paper over the balloon openings. I also added the adhesive around the opening for the plastic dome. The adhesive comes with the domes.
I always choose to have Cricut draw my words on little things like this. I adhered the words to the matting.

I then added the plastic dome to the back side of the card front.

.
Next, I added my rolled-up cold hard cash to the dome.
Then I adhered the front to the back cardstock, making sure you add your adhesive to the card front to avoid having adhesive poke through the star openings.

Then, give your card and gift to someone special.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Strawberry Gift Set – SVG Files!

When I think of summer, for some reason I always think of strawberries.  Maybe because strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts, or because red is one of my favorite colors.  I’m not sure, but when I saw Lori’s Strawberry Bundle, I couldn’t wait to make all of the projects!  I mean, strawberries with hearts?  How cute!

For today’s project I made a gift set for a friend.  I love the little milk carton treat box tied with ribbon and a cute tag at the top.  I used paper from the Little Ladybug collection by Echo Park, and tomato card stock from Simple Stories.
I wanted to tie the two projects together so I used black and white ribbon around the top. I love a green, red, black and white color combo! I also added a few yellow Doodlebug enamel dots to the cute little flowers.

I love how this set turned out and I can’t wait to make a few more projects from this adorable bundle! I hope you are inspired to add strawberries to your list of summer projects too!  Happy crafting!
