Happy Labor Day Weekend!  Have you heard of Craftsy? They are a fabulous website full of crafting classes. Want to learn to bake, knit, sew, or use your camera better? I have thoroughly enjoyed every single class that I’ve ever taken from Craftsy. They do a great job of getting amazing teachers and the classes are organized.  The best news is they have one of their biggest sales of the year going on right now!!! They have a 50% OFF sale that is happening right HERE this weekend!  All classes including my Next Steps with Silhouette class are half off from Friday, Sept. 2nd – Monday, Sept. 5th!  The kids are back in school so, it’s the perfect time of the year to take a class. Hundreds of classes are priced at $19.99 or less!  Don’t walk, RUN on over to Craftsy and sign up for some classes! Enjoy : )

Now, here’s some fabulous digital inspiration from Ashley!

Tote Organizer with Corri

Hi everyone!  Corri here today to share an assembly tutorial for the new Tote Organizer that Lori recently added to her SVG Shop.

This little tote could be used for so many gift ideas.  I used mine to old some crayons and markers.

This would be so cute for party favors or a small birthday gift.  You could stick a gift card to the craft store for a sketch pad or more art supplies.

When you cut out the pieces, this is what you will have.

To create the tote, fold the base pieces along the score lines and apply glue to glue tabs to form the boxes.

Glue the two pieces back to back to form the tote handle.   The two additional pink pieces are cover panels to hide the seam and add stability to your tote.

The remaining pieces are for decoration.  I used paper from the Echo Park Paper – Let’s Be Mermaids Collection.

That’s it!  It’s a quick and easy project that has tons of uses.

Be sure to check out all Lori’s newest files in her shop!

Lori’s Essential Mini Album with Traci

Hi Lori fans! It’s Traci, from Artsy Albums, and I’m happy to be back to share another project using Lori’s Sizzix dies.  For this one, I used her new Essential Mini Album Thinlits dies.  This set comes with 15 dies!  I also used her new Mix & Match flowers set.

For the cover, “The Story” title is included in the mini album set.  I added it to a label that I cut from the Perfect Labels Thinlits set and then layered all of those pretty flowers with a cute brad.

I love how Lori provided the base album page in this set, along with a layered piece for pattern paper.  The film strip frames are also included in the set … so cute!!  All of the pieces were cut from paper designed by Lori for Echo Park called Pinstripes.

I hope this mini has inspired you to go check out these sets, and all of the other fun dies and stamps that Lori has designed for Sizzix!

Happy crafting!
