Easter Bunny Tote with Brandie

Hi there crafty friend! Brandie here with a cute and easy Easter bunny basket idea. If you are like me and want to give something small for Easter than this tote is perfect!

The Easter bunny tote file can be found here in Lori Whitlock’s shop and here in the Silhouette store. This little tote is cute as is but I wanted to use  the new Easter bunny faces files. They have so much personality!

I  removed the face on the tote and did a print and cut with the boy and girl bunny face files on the support piece that is included in the tote file. You can find the girl bunny here and the boy bunny here in Loris shop and here and here in the Silhouette store.

All of the pattern papers are from the 6×6 paper pads of Echo Park’s Sweet Baby Girl and Sweet Baby Boy collections

I hope you all have a Happy Easter. Thanks for stopping by!

Quilting Weekend Goodie Set

Happy March everyone.  I am so excited to share my project for today.  I love to sew and quilt and am going away for a long weekend with  good friends to quilt.  I made this adorable box of Lori’s using paper and stickers from her Echo Park line called I’d Rather Be Crafting.   The cut file I used for the box is called Basket with Flower and can be found here in Lori’s shop and here in the Silhouette store.  I also used the bow from the Matchbox Drawer Card Bow which is here in Lori’s store and here in the Silhouette store.  To make my curls, I cut 1/4″ pieces of cardstock and wound it around a pen.

I also made pie tin pin cushions to give to my friends along with their spring Chex Mix.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your day.

Hugs,

Anita

Sweet Baby Girl Bottle Card and Diaper Bag by Aimee

Hello crafty friends! Aimee here with you today and I am so excited because this is my 1st Lori Whitlock blog post! I am still over the moon to be joining this team of amazing crafters and working with Lori’s amazing cuts!

Today, I am sharing this card/gift bag for a sweet baby girl. I used the Diaper Bag (here in the Silhouette Store) and the Baby Bottle Shaped Card (here in the Silhouette Store)  along with the beautiful new Lori Whitlock Sweet Baby Girl collection. We have had 2 new sweet baby girls born into the family within the past 3 months!

This card is just adorable and came together quickly! I had it put together within 5 minutes and then came the fun part of decorating it! Every piece of this card came from Sweet Baby Girl collection with the addition of some Doodlebug twine and button.

Same thing for this sweet little diaper bag…it came together quickly! I used small amount of glue to put the box together and to adhere the “diaper” pieces to the front, back, and sides, and then a couple of pearl brads to attach the handle. I don’t know of any mom who wouldn’t love to receive this sweet little set!

Hope you have enjoyed these projects, thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Baby Mini Album with Anita

Hi Everyone:

Anita here with a fun tutorial to make this mini baby album.  My brother’s girlfriend just became a grandmother of a beautiful baby boy and I made this album for her to fill and to share with her friends.

This is a photo of the cut file.  It is called Baby Layered Mini Album and you can find it in Lori’s store and in the Silhouette Store.  I mixed and matched some wonderful collections  from Echo Park to make my album including A Perfect Winter, A Perfect Autumn, A Perfect Christmas and I Love Family.  I bought 1.5 inch colored rings from Amazon for the album.

I decided that I wanted each page the same print/color so I used the replicate function on my Silhouette to mirror the left tabbed page to the right so that I could glue them together to create a heavier page.  I then cut both pages from the same paper and adhered them back to back.

I then  used the rectangle tool on the left side bar to create a white piece to be a photo mat.    I like to put the item I am trying to match the size on my mat.

Here is the sized rectangle on my mat.

Here is a photo that shows the other rectangles that I created for the pages of my album.  I then cut two of each for each page of the album.

I used Lori’s font called Wide Marker at the 56.0 font size and moved them on to the bottle to see how it would look.

Here are the pieces for my album.

There you have it.  This worked up very quickly and it so cute.  Can’t wait to send it off to it’s recipient.

Hugs,

Anita

Snowbirds! with Michelle

It is so cold outside! The cold and snow inspired me, Michelle, to create these little snowbirds.

You can find the SVG files for this tiny 4″ birdhouse at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop and also at the Silhouette Design Store. In the files, you’ll notice that the branch has leaves. With my Silhouette Cameo, I used the knife tool to remove the leaves because we won’t be seeing green for months!

I made some snowflake embellishments to keep the little birds company in my large vase. Lori has designed many gorgeous snowflakes, but this one is my favorite. You can find the set at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop or at the Silhouette Design Store. Using Echo Park’s A Perfect Winter paper, the snowflakes cut perfectly each and every time. Adding glitter was a fun way to make them sparkle!

I hope that I have inspired you to create something fun today.

Stay warm! This weather is for the birds.
