Time for Pie! A2 Box Card Pumpkin Pie Flowers

 Hi everyone!

The holidays are just around the corner…hard to believe they are sneaking up on us so fast.  I had fun in my little studio creating this adorable box card.  It’s Lori’s A2 pumpkin pie flower box card or you can find it here In the Silhouette Online Design Store.  It’s just too cute with that little crust edge…love it.

I used Lori’s Echo Park I Love Fall collection.  I have used this collection over and over, it is just perfect for everything this time of year.

I adore this little card.  Wouldn’t it be fun to use them as place settings at your Thanksgiving table?!
And wouldn’t it be nice it we all had time for that?!
Happy creating!

80th Birthday Card

Last weekend we got to celebrate the 80th birthday of my fiance’s uncle, Dennis. Perfect oppertunity to make this fun card.

I used the pop up birthday card (SVGSilhouette). I changed the Happy to a writing image rather than a cut. You know me and those little tiny letters. I used papers from the Echo Park Dino-Mite Collection.

Such a fun bright card. The SVG from Lori’s shop comes with birthdays 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 so it’s a versatile SVG that you can use over and over.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!

A2 Box Card Pumpkin Flowers Tutorial

Fall is in the air, cooler crisp mornings and the days are getting shorter.  It’s my very favorite time of the year to create, with all the wonderful Fall and Halloween collections.  I have an easy little tutorial on one of Lori’s new box cards.  They are my all time favorite and I just couldn’t resist this one.  This is the A2 Pumpkin Flower Box that you can find here in Lori’s Shop or here in the Silhouette Online Design Store.

I used Lori’s Echo Park Collection, I Love Fall!  So cute and amazing little details for my card.

First get all your pieces cute and separated to be able assemble easily.

Next, I fold all of my score lines for the box components.

Then I ink all the edges!

Now you are all set to assemble and glue all your pieces.

Once everything is adhered you can add adhesive to the flaps of the box components
.
Start with the orange piece to form the box.
Next add the piece 2, the easiest way for me to know where to adhere it, is just to have the flaps touch the back of the box and then you know you will have perfect spacing.  So I always start from the back and work my way forward.
Add piece one and have it touch to piece two for perfect placement.
Here it is before I embellished…so cute already but you know I can’t help myself!
And omgosh!  Isn’t it the cutest!?  Love it!
Thanks for joining us today!

Pillow Box with Curved Handle Tutorial

Hi there friends! Today I am sharing a quick little treat idea for all the back to schoolers. I used the Pillow Box with Curved Handle (SVGSilhouette) and the School Stickers (SVGSilhouette).

Once I had everything uploaded to Cricut Design Space I resized the pillow box to 5.5×9.33. I wanted to be adle to fit two boxes on one sheet of 12×12 paper. I also flattened the sticker images and printed them out on plain white cardstock. For the tag I used one out of Cricut Design Space, but here is one from Lori’s site if you need one (SVGSilhouette). I used papers from the School Rules collection by Echo Park Paper Co.

I cut four pillow boxes and two sets of the stickers. I also punched some tiny hearts. I layered up some of the stickers on the tags leaving room at the top for the recipient’s name. I used a liquid glue to attach everything because I didn’t use a sticker paper. For the box I pre folded the score lines as mountain folds. I then added glue to the inside of the box on just the handle.

After the glue was dry I folded in all of the side tabs.
I then used some bakers twine to attach the tags. I filled my boxes with a rice crispy treat and a little note for each kiddo.
This little pillow box is so versatile and great for any occasion all you need to do is change up the papers. Definitely worth having a few in the file library. Thanks for stopping by today and happy back to school!

I love the summer vibe this group has, and I was drawn to the palm trees and flamingo card (SVG, Silhouette). These files also come with several print and cut sentiments too add to the front of the card. I love a multi-use card!
