Guest Designer Kimberly Rae

We have guest designer, Kimberly Rae to share a project with you today.  You can view her blog here and see all of her work. Today we would like to showcase one of her projects, so without further ado, let me give the baton to KimberlyRae…”

Thank you so much for having me! I’m such a fan of your work and love Everything you do.

I made my mom this ‘Mom’s Desktop Birthday Planner’! My Mom is only in her 60′s, works Full-time and has 9 kids, 27 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids! She does a good job at juggling everyone’s birthday’s but with new great grandkids coming up, it was getting harder to remember who on what date…can ya blame her?! haha. When I saw Lori Whitlock’s “Number Mini Album” I knew it would make the Perfect Gift for my Mom!

I also used Lori Whitlock’s “Square Frame” and “5×7 Shadow Box” cutting files to make the stand so that the holder would sit sturdy on her desk and all she has to do is turn to the Day and look to the left to see who’s birthday is in what month. Pretty cool, right? I think I need one of these, too. Do you know someone that you could make one for? Please, enjoy this video I made, to show the planner and all the pages; the stand front and back.
Thank you KimberlyRae for being our guest designer today. Such a fun project. Lisa

Creative Team Member Corri

Corri has used the “4 Cupcakes Box” which is new in the shop today to create this adorable gift. After resizing it to 58% she cut the box and it now fits 4 K-cups perfectly. To decorate the box she left the belly band off and used the mug, snowflake , and scalloped circle, available in the shop. What a cute and fun gift for a loved one. Thanks Corri. New in Lori Whitlock Shop Today

Three new shapes in the shop today. “4 Cupcakes Box,” this is the box Corri used in the previous post, “5×4 Mini Accordion Album” and the “Glass Ornament Insert.” Check out the new pdf version of the ever so popular Nativity 1 that has been designed as a pdf to print on transparency film then cut either by hand or with your diecut machine. These shapes are all available in the shop here.

Please forgive me for the late post today, computer and internet woes while I am away. Mendi has the most adorable recipe box to share today. I am envious of this cute project.

Some of these shapes are available in the shop and others are available only at silhouette, but not for long. I will post a link when the produce shapes are available. Mendi has wonderful instructions on her blog, so head on over and check it out. Mendi, Thank You, this is adorable!

Creative Team Member Joy

Today Joy shares with us a “Pumpkin Patch Block”

Joy says…

“I used the Pumpkin Patch title from Lori’s “4 Fall Titles” cut file to create this fun fall themed photo holder. I painted a wood block and cut pieces of paper to fit the front, back and sides using Echo Park’s for the Record 2 Tailored Collection paper by Lori Whitlock.  Drilled holes in the top of the wood block allowed me to have a place to add some wire holders for photos.  I printed some recent photos of my family and glued them to some of the fun tags that are part of the For the Record 2 Tailored Collection paper by Lori Whitlock.  I stuck the paper framed photos into the wire holders to create my own little “pumpkin patch”!
