Hi everyone! Corri here today sharing a quick assembly tutorial for the new stacking card base cards. I made the snowflake version. You can really change the look of these cards by changing the colors of the layers. Try ungrouping the layers in Silhouette Studio and then playing around with the colors. You can get a preview of your finished card before you cut things out.
Here’s what the layers look like when they are all cut.
Now just glue the layer with the medium size cut outs on the layer with the smallest snowflakes cut outs. Be careful to apply your glue neatly on the edges so it doesn’t bleed into the cut outs.
The final layer goes on top to give the card this fun three dimensional look.
These cards are pretty on their own…just add a sentiment. Or add some fun chipboard elements to create a cute winter scene.
// I used paper and stickers from the Echo Park – I Love Winter Collection.
Very sweet! 😀 TFS
Are there any other cards Ike this one. Other than Xmas?
Hi Katherine, there are 12 stacking Card Bases in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop. They are just the bases and can be customized to whatever holiday you wish. Here is a link: http://shop.loriwhitlock.com/search.php?search_query=%22stacking+Card+Base I hope this helps.
