Kit of the Month Projects with Michelle

Hello Crafty Friends! How is it June already? June is traditionally wedding season, so I’m here with you today to share a very special set of projects that you can make for free! Yes, free!

Each month Lori has a Kit of the Month. This month, it’s wedding themed, but you can use it for so much more. I’m planning on using these place cards for my holiday table next Christmas! This kit includes the SVG files for the items shown. It’s available for FREE with any $20 purchase during the month of June 2019. Simply add this item to your cart at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop along with your purchase and enter coupon code: JUN19KOTM. This kit will then be FREE upon checkout. Limit one coupon code per order.

Of course you can always buy the SVG files for the items individually as well. All of the projects are available at the Silhouette Design Store as well as at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop. I’ll include the links below.

I had so much fun putting all of these together. I hope that I’ve inspired you to make your own fabulous projects with your free Kit of the Month this month!

Bridal Shower Card with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with a fun and quick card I made for a recent bridal shower.  I used one of Lori’s older cards, the Wedding Dress Card (available here in the Silhouette Store )  Take a peek…

The best thing about this card is that it is so easy to customize.  It comes with multiple pieces for the wedding dress including a full dress as well as a separate top and bottom, so you could use different colors or textures if you wish.    I used the full dress piece and ran it through my Sizzix with an embossing folder to give it a lacy texture. I also added a ribbon and enamel dots. The background paper is from the Lori’s new Perfect Princess collection for Echo Park Paper.   It coordinated perfectly with the bride’s color scheme!  That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Here Comes the Bride with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with some adorable wedding favors from Lori’s Shop!  A very close friend just shared that she’s engaged, and I couldn’t be happier!  I decided to make her a little something to celebrate the happy news, and Lori’s Wedding Favor Boxes were perfect!  (in the Silhouette Store:  Groom, Bride ) Take a peek…

These boxes are so simple to put together, and they each hold a few chocolate kisses or other similar sized candies.   You can keep them simple or add lots of embellishments to fit your style.  I added some shaped sequins for flowers, and some colored pearls to match my ribbon.  You could use these for a bridal shower, as wedding favors or just as a little “I’m so happy for you” gift!  Well, that’s it for me today, thanks so much for stopping by!

Wedding Layout by Mendi

I seriously cannot get over how cute Lori’s “Love Story” line by Echo Park is, so when I saw this adorable layout by Mendi I was already in love. I have mostly boys and don’t like the ruffly girly look all the time but this collection and layout totally rock in my eyes. Mendi says…

For today’s layout I turned to more wedding photos that were just begging to be scrapbooked after over a decade of sitting in my photo box!  Lori has so many great heart shapes that I had fun mixing and matching in different styles and sizes.  I was excited to discover that the damask heart set is nearly a perfect match for the black and white patterned paper found in the Love Story paper collection!  Check out my blog today for more tips on getting extra mileage from border cutting files like I did on this layout.”
For this layout I used the following cutting files:
3 Tabs (silhouette store)
2 Borders (silhouette store)
