Valentines by Amanda and Corri

Do you ever handmake Valentine cards for your loved ones? Amanda has given me a reason to think about doing just that. She used Lori’s “love” life card and created these beautiful life cards with solid cardstock. I would love to make one for each of my kids and my hubby and sneak them into their lunches.

Next we have Corri sharing with us the Conversation Heart Box…

I’ve already started thinking about things my kids can give their classmates for Valentine’s Day.

I love this Conversation Heart Box from Lori Whitlock.    This would be so fun filled with some M&Ms or Jelly Beans.  I cut it at full size (finished size if 4″h x 3″w) but you could reduce the size a little and still have plenty of room for treats.

This pretty pattern paper is from the Echo Park – Love Story Collection.  I love this paper….so pretty and it can be used for things other than Valentine’s Day. I embellished my box with some of these flowers and a couple of sticker from the paper collection.

Valentine Goodies by Christine and Natalie

I want to share with you some adorable Valentines projects. I LOVE these and want to make some of my own.  Christine says
Looking through the Valentine section in Lori’s store, I was immediately drawn to this Valentine card set.  Just as they are, they are beautiful cards, but I also saw what a little bling and extras could do to make them sparkle.
Here is a sneak peek of each card.  I used the pattern paper Love Story by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park and added glitter cardstock, gems, and ribbon.
Christine has GREAT tutorials and instructions on her Blog about these cards, so be sure to hop over and check it out.
Next I have Natalie’s project to share with you. She used the Heart Pocket. It will be in the shop by the end of the day, but can be found in the Silhouette store now. Natalie has more pictures and info on her blog so be sure on check it out, until then, Natalie says…
Happy Tuesday everyone!  I have a little project for you today that will sweeten anyones day!  On Valentines Day, we always like to make a special dinner for the kids.  We make chocolate waffles with raspberry syrup.  It’s something my kids look forward to every year.  And lets face it, who doesn’t love breakfast for dinner?
I made these little pockets last year for our Valentines dinner, which I slipped a little note to tell them all the reasons I loved them.  But this year, I am going to put them out early so I can fill them with notes all  month long.  After I made them, I tied them to the backs of their chairs a the table.  They made my table look so festive, and how fun is it to get love notes every day!

Lori’s heart pocket file found here
added some bakers twine to tie them to the chair
Ladies, thank you for sharing your talents with us. These are beautiful!

Cards by Mendi and Stickers by Joy

Mendi has a beautiful set of cards to share with us today.

Shapes/Papers used:
“With some extra paper scraps I had leftover from last week’s layout, I was able to make a couple cute post holiday thank you cards.  Working with some of the same shapes I was able to give the snowman cutting file a new twist by enlarging him and using just his head and shoulders.  I love how he looks paired with Lori’s thought bubble and cute thank you phrase.  The cherry on top is that I was able to create something useful with small scraps that would otherwise be lining my waste paper basket!”

Joy shares ‘Print and Cut Stickers’ with us.

Today I’m using my Silhouette Cameo along with these great Lori Whitlock files: Nested HeartsStamp Set and Valentines Borders and sticker paper (or sticky shipping labels) to make stickers that you (or your precious kiddos) can use to decorate items for Valentine’s Day.  Making your own stickers is a great way to personalize inexpensive envelopes for a whole classroom or just for a few special loved ones!  They’re perfect for scrapbook pages too!  Want a step by step tutorial?  I’ve got one here.

Valentine Goodies by Corri and Layout by Amanda

We would like to Welcome Corri to the blog today. Her blog is a great place for inspiration. You can check her out here everyday.

Hi everyone!  It’s my turn up on Lori Whitlock’s blog today.  I have a pretty Valentine’s Gift set that I made using some of Lori’s new files.

I used Echo Park’s – Love Story collection that Lori designed.  I love the animal print papers mixed with the red and pink. So fun!

For my card, I used the base from this thank you card.  The  pretty scallop heart is from this set.  I framed it with this adorable polaroid frame.  I cut the new 3d bracket lid box  and embellished with another heart and a sticker from the Love Story Collection kit.

I also have a project from Amanda to share with you. The black line around the layout is for our benefit to show the edges of the layout. Make sure and check out the detail photo as well.
