Envelope Slide Box Tutorial Cameo Pro MK2

Hello everyone! Tamara here today, to share this cute Envelope Slide Box.

I had so much fun creating the Envelope Slide Box by Lori! Originally designed as a Valentine’s Day project, I decided to transform it into a New Year’s themed creation. The box is perfectly sized to hold two chocolate bonbons – a sweet treat for any celebration!

Go to the files SVG or Silhouette

I crafted the first version using my Silhouette Cameo 5 and 12”x12” paper. But of course, I couldn’t resist trying it again with my brand-new Silhouette Cameo Pro MK2!

Look at the difference in Silhouette Studio!

And let me tell you, this design looks absolutely stunning in a larger size. And look at what you can put inside this bigger size box, a full pack of cookies and a handful of chocolate bonbons!

This file is super quick to make and can easily be adapted to suit any occasion. It’s definitely one of my favorites ( I keep saying this with every project I make)!

step 1, cut all the pieces.

Step 2, glue the box together.

step 3, glue the wrap together.

Step 4, start decorating.

Step 5, add the little note in the envelope.

With this project, I’m wrapping up my final blog post for 2024. Wishing you all a very happy and creative 2025! 🎉

Good Cheer!

Hello everybody, Marcia here today. Are we ready to say goodbye to 2020! I sure am!! No parties yet for us though. We will be celebrating at home, just hubby and I. I do sure hope 2021 treats us better. If you know of someone in need of some good cheer in 2021, you can send them this card. My card will soon be headed overseas to my favorite serviceman. I hope it will bring a smile to his face.

I used the Lori Whitlock Hexagon Pop-Up New Year’s Card ( SVG, Silhouette ).  New Year’s decorations are usually silver and gold, so I went with that and added a black glitter cardstock base. The Good Cheer is a rub on I found while rummaging in my stash when making Christmas cards.

I love these 3D cards! They fold flat for mailing, but can be popped up and displayed. You can find an assembly tutorial here on Lori’s YouTube Channel.  Thanks so much for stopping by. Here’s hoping 2021 is better.

New Year’s Eve Photo Props

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today, with an idea to make your New Year’s Eve celebrations even more fun!  Try adding some New Year’s Photo Props!

The files I used to create these are 2016 Happy New Year Photo Props 1, 2016 Happy New Year Photo Props 2 and 2016 Happy New Year Photo Props 3All three of these files happen to be 25% off through Sunday!!  I added some gold and silver cardstock, a little bit of bling and some wood dowels I purchased in my local craft store and voila,  instant fun!  Here are some close-ups …

And what fun would props be if we didn’t use them?  My daughter was a good sport and modeled them all for me!

That’s it for me today!  I wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year!!
