Strawberry Fields Matchbook Mini Album

Just stopping by to share a little strawberry mini with you.  This little book was created with Lori’s Echo Park Strawberry Fields collection and an SVG file that goes way back…..Matchbook Card, (Silhouette Store).  It is just meant to be a card with a little pocket that holds another little card.  But I just kept adding pieces from the Strawberry Fields collection, and it became a mini album.

It is loaded with pages.

You can see here how full it is!
And a view with it open!
First you need to open the file and resize it.  It is 12.847 by 13.657.  This gives the matchbook cover a good size to create and fill with papers.
1.  You can see the pieces I cut.
2.  Assemble and adhere your papers.
3.  Your little pocket for the inside is peak and valley folded and adhered with scor tape.
4.  Add the pocket to the inside of your match book.
5.  You can see how everything is lined up here.
6.  Thread the holes to bind the matchbook and pocket together.
Next is where you can make it your own.  I create 6 little pages that include the pocket and mini card.
I just chose pieces from the collection, cut them to fit my idea, then scored them all at 1 inch from the bottom.  This one-inch base is adhered to the bottom of the pocket, and then do another and another…til you have your book filled.
I just used scor-tape on all.
Here you can see how I just started layering them in.  That one-inch score line gives them the ease of movement as you flip through the book
Thank you for stopping by today!
