Halloween Window Flip Card

Happy Monday!  I hope you have a great week ahead of you.  I’m sharing a Halloween flip card today.  Find this card in the Silhouette Store and Lori’s SVG shop.

Window Flip Card Haunted House

Instead of adding the Haunted House, I added a Halloween sticker from Lori’s I Love Halloween line.  These cards are a great way to either cut the given elements or use stickers.

Here’s a tutorial post that can help you put the card together.  I hope you enjoy this inspiration, and make some fun Window flip cards.

Halloween Mixer Fun

It’s almost Halloween and it’s my favorite time of year to paper craft with all the fun colors.  I also love to bake this time of year too.  This year I created these fun little mixer shaker cards to go along with my baked goods.  I used Lori’s Mixer Shaped Card (SVG, Silhouette) and just added a shaker to the mixing bowl.

I created the shaker on my Silhouette by offsetting the mixing bowling by .125 and cutting just the frame of the bowl.  I then cut the regular bowl shape our of acetate.  Next, I added dimensional foam to create the shaker window and added fun little Halloween Shaker bits for more mixing fun!  I love how these turned out and they will be the perfect addition to my Halloween baking!

Have a great day!

Not-So-Scary Halloween Treats

Hi there paper crafting friends!  It’s Michelle Starcher, aka the Bookish Designer, hopping onto the blog to share a cute Halloween gift idea using the 3D Candy Corn Jack O’Lantern (SVGSilhouette) with a coordinating card, the A2 Halloween Card Ghost (SVG, Silhouette). I know I am sure to make someone smile this Halloween with this adorable duo.

This cute candy corn has a lid that opens so you can fill it with candy corns or other small candies.  The candy corn is about 3″ tall and 2.5″ wide at its widest point when you use the original file size.  However, you could increase the size to about 3.5″ x 4″ if you turn the box base diagonal, and the base would still fit on a 12X12 piece of Cardstock.  You can see the size difference in the image below (bottom candy corn is the original file size).  If you decide to enlarge the file, just be sure to increase all the pieces at the same time to keep the ratios the same.

For the card, I used patterned paper from Lori’s Halloween Magic collection for the card base.  I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to place inside the card, so I would have a place to write my sentiments since the patterned paper was double-sided.  I used foam tape on the ghost, moon, and jack o’lantern to give the card some dimension. This adorable card that folds flat and fits in the included A2 envelope.

There are just a few of the Halloween boxes and cards available in the shop.  Be sure to check out Lori’s selection of treat boxes and cards for all your holiday needs.

Until next time,

Michelle, aka the Bookish Designer

Halloween Card & Box Set

Hello crafty friends! It’s that time of year to bring out the tricks and treats! Today I have an adorable matching card and candy box set for a sweet someone in your life. Both ghosts are the one found in the card file and not the one that came with the box file which is why I say they are “matching”.  The card is the Floating Easel Card Haunted House (Lori’s Shop, Silhouette) and the candy box is the Handle Box Ghost (Lori’s Shop, Silhouette).
This sweet card was so much fun to make and although I messed up by using a white thread which is visible it still looks so cute! You should use fishing line which is clear.  I added some black inking around the edges of the purple cardstock to give this card an eerie effect.
And I just absolutely love this candy box that was made with the I Love Halloween collection!
That’s all from me today…I hope you give these projects a try. They are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face.
