Customized Graduation Cards with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with some Graduation cards. We have at least 4 graduation parties coming up and I wanted to use the new Flexi Card Congrats Grad (SVG, Silhouette).  I decided to embellish them a bit and also to add a gift card pocket to the back of the card.  I used the Graduation Cap with Year (SVG, Silhouette), and the pocket piece from the Gift Card Purse (SVG, Silhouette) to customize my cards.

I looked up the colors for each of the schools and used those colors for the frame and background piece on the Flexi Cards.  I resized the graduation cap and year to fit the front of the card and added them with some foam tape to make them pop a bit.  I used a gold enamel dot to top off the tassel.

I resized the pocket from Gift Card Purse to fit on the back of the card, this way I can add a little something to the card!

Below, I’ve highlighted the pieces I resized so you can see how big to make them if you wish to recreate this card. (you can also use the pocket on the other cards in the Flexi Card Sentiment Bundle as well)

(Measurements:  Hat: 1.161″h x 2.25″w    Year:  1.140″h x 1.0″w   Pocket:  1.991″h x 4.463″w)

That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Graduation Card with Courtney

Hello! This is Courtney Lee from Court’s Crafts here with a graduation card that I made for my brother in law. You can pin this for the future or if you missed a graduation send a late card! Better late than never! 🙂

For the front of my card I cut the “green panel” a second time out of white so that I could use my Cricut pens on the front. The difference between maroons is because he went to undergrad at Harvard and just finished his post graduate work at MIT. He’s a smarty pants. 🙂

Here is what the card looks like from the side. I love the dimension and it’s amazing how it folds flat!

I added his name to the mailbox, a graduation scroll and a pile of books. The latter two were stickers in my stash. I also copied the front of the mailbox and made it smaller so that I could make it look like an open mailbox.

I added writing to the bottom of the card too so that basically all we had to do was sign it. “If only it was this easy…” refers to getting the diploma in the mail. Wouldn’t it be nice if it was that easy!? 🙂

Thank you for looking and I hope you have a beautiful day!

Graduation Hat Box with Kathy

Hi Everyone!   I have fun little project for you today, Lori’s new Circle Graduation Hat Box!  My daughter is graduating from High School this year, so I know I’m going to use this file a lot!  Take a peek…

I chose blue and white because those are our High School colors, but you can customize this to go with any school color scheme!  The box goes together really quickly, and is very sturdy.  I added a cute little tassel made from some white baker’s twine.  Here’s what the box looks like when it’s open:

It’s the perfect size for a small gift or gift card.  You could even make a bunch as favors and fill them with candies.  That’s it for me today, make sure to stop by the blog tomorrow to see the Tuesday Freebie and all of the new files that have been added to the shop!  Thanks for stopping by to peek!

Graduation Gift Ideas with Traci

Hello Lori fans!  It’s Traci and I can’t believe that we are already heading into graduation season!  It seems like Christmas and Easter just flew by.  Well if you are scrambling to get together some gifts for graduates like I am, check out these great ideas Lori has in her SVG shop.

Isn’t this box adorable?  It’s very easy to cut and assemble and will be a nice way to give a gift to someone special!  The tassel is just a bunch of Baker’s twine and since it comes in so many colors, you can match the graduate’s school colors.  In addition to being a great gift box, I think this would also be a fun table centerpiece or part of the graduation party decor!

Another little twine tassel finished off this adorable card.  The little pocket inside is perfect for money or a gift card.  What graduate would not want to receive this??

So whether you are giving a boxed gift or a card, Lori has you covered with her cute cutting files!
