Adorable Grid Pop Up Card Valentine Gnome

At first, I was a little worried about how these new Grid Pop Up Cards would go together, but they are easy peasy, rest assured – just follow Lori’s instructions that are on the mat as you cut the design. They are super simple!  You can find a blog post with instructions for the Grid Pop Up Card SVG files HERE. I will be making lots more of these.

You can find this little guy here in Lori’s Shop or here in the Silhouette Store.  Make sure to try these out and share them with us on Lori’s page, we would love to see what you are creating.

4th of July Gnome Box Card

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with a fun card … the Box Card Gnome 4th of July (SVG, Silhouette)  …take a peek…

How cute is this little gnome??  I just love him and he goes together easily.  (For help with shaped box cards, see this post)   I added some enamel dots to the flower centers for some dimension, and the sentiment was done using the print and cut feature of my cutting machine.  He folds flat to fit in a standard A2 Envelope.   Lori has one here (SVG, Silhouette).  He looks so cute sitting on my shelf, and it would be a great card to send to a loved one to celebrate the holiday.

I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July!

Gnome Box Tutorial

There is a new Gnome Box Collection in the Lori Whitlock SVG store.  They are all so cute.  Here’s some quick tips about putting these together.

The gnome I pieced together can be found here in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop, and at the Silhouette Design store here.

I used paper from Lori’s Little Lumberjack collection by Echo Park.

If you have a Cricut and a scoring tool or wheel, you will want to upload the Solid SVG file.  If you are using Silhouette or don’t have a scoring tool, you will want to use the Dashed Lines SVG file.

Here are all the gnome pieces.  There are gnomes on both sides of the box.

This is the box piece.  Notice that the gnomes will cover the sides of this box.  And you will see the pattern of this paper on the short side when completed.

Assemble all the gnome pieces on the flat box.

Then glue the box flaps together to complete the box.

This cute box could be used in a number of ways–class party craft, table name cards, or treat boxes.  Have fun creating!
