Gift Card Holder with Corri

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing my version of Lori’s new gift card holder.  Christmas is less than a week away and it’s time to wrap up last minute gift items.

I give a lot of gift cards and dressing them up with a cute gift card holder like this makes them feel more special.   Lori added several cute version of this file.  I chose the snowflake version and used paper from the Echo Park – I Love Winter Collection.

 

These cute gift card holders take only a few minutes to make and would look great attached to bag filled with candy or cookies to make your gift complete.  You could even tie this to the handle of a mug and include a gift card to a coffee shop.

Welcome to Lori Whitlock’s Blog! The Holidays are fast approaching and sometimes we have to think fast for an unexpected gift!

Today I am sharing the Santa Gift Card holder.

These are the pieces you will need to cut.

I added Tinsel Glitter to his beard, highlighted the eyes and added a few red sparkle stickers to his holly sprig.

Of course Santa has my back with a Starbuck’s Card! LOL Happy Holidays!

Gift Card Booklet with Kathy

Hi Everyone, it’s Kathy today with a fun little gift card booklet I created using Lori’s Build an Album String Tie Envelope.  Every year for Christmas, I give my daughter some gift cards to her favorite places… it’s become a tradition, and she really loves it!  I don’t want to just hand her the cards, so I always make a little booklet.  This year I used Lori’s String Tie Envelopes to put it together. (available here in the Silhouette Store)

I tied five of the envelopes together with some twine to form the booklet, and had a fun time decorating each envelope… take a peek…

Each envelope has an insert.  I used some fun washi tapes to attach the gift cards to the inserts.

I can’t wait for my daughter to open this on Christmas day!  That’s it for me today, I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Sweet Purse Gift Bag with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with a sweet way to give a small gift or gift card.  May & June are crazy around here… tons of birthdays, anniversaries, graduations…and more.  I can always use a cute way to package up a gift or gift card.  Here’s what I created…

I used Lori’s new Purse Shaped Box file (found here in the Silhouette Store) for my project.  It’s adorable on its own, but I decided to dress it up a bit by adding some stitching and a big flower embellishment!  I’m so happy with the results, and I can’t wait to give it away!!  That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Eye Candy by Mendi and Joy

Today we have 2 of our talented ladies on the blog, Mendi and Joy. Mendi is up first with an adorable Easter layout…
“Well, as promised I challenged myself to use Lori’s new Echo Park collections to create an Easter layout. What took me by suprise though was that rather than going with the more girly “Sweet Girl” line, I ended up using her “About A boy” line almost exclusively. Just goes to show how versatile these papers can be for all sorts of themes including a girly project.   When it came to embellishing my page I turned to Lori’s fun spring shapes.  I think one of my favorite things about diecutting my own embellishments (aside from saving loads of money) has to be dressing them up. With the help of some chalk ink, hand stitching, foam tape and buttons, Lori’s flower, chicks & butterflies totally came to life!   I used her LW Happy font for my title, topped with some Glossy Accents. I love how doing this gives you the feeling of a fancy alphabet sticker, but the beauty is it’s always the perfect size to fit your space and you’ll never running out of vowels”.   🙂
