St. Patrick’s Favor Box & Game

Happy Wednesday!  I hope everyone is having a great week!    Did you know that Monday was National Children’s Craft Day?  It got me thinking about my grandchildren and how much they love games and stickers.  It gave me an idea for today’s project … one of Lori’s adorable little treat boxes (links below) filled with a set of matching game cards.

First, I made the adorable box.  I love this file because you can cut 2 boxes on one sheet of 12×12 card stock! It’s super simple and quick to put together and you can add any embellishments to the front.  I found these cute Doodlebug stickers in my stash and they worked perfectly.  And isn’t the heart shaped handle cute!!?

You can fill this cute treat box with candy, gifts, or a fun little game.  I just cut out 2.75″ x 2.75″ squares from green card stock, layered them with white card stock and added the stickers.  Since it’s a matching game, you’ll need two sets of identical stickers 🙂

You could also get your little ones involved and let them put the stickers on the cards!  They will have fun with the stickers and then they will have a game they helped to create!  Win win!

I hope this project sparks some creative ideas for you this week!  Here are links to the adorable 2 on 12 x 12 Heart Favor Box (SVG, Silhouette).

Happy St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow!

Santa Label and Gift Bag

Hello everyone! I don’t always have the time to put together a bunch of Christmas tags so print and cut really comes in handy for me and these adorable Santa Labels (SVG, Silhouette) are going on all my grandchildren’s packages. I also needed a small gift bag so I cut out the Gift Bag 2 (SVG, Silhouette) and made this super simple and quick gift package!

Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Gifts for my Gnomies

During the holidays, it’s always good to have a few items on hand to use as last minute hostess or thank you gifts.  They always come in handy! Lori has so many little favor bags, you’re sure to find one that fits your needs!  This year I’m making a couple of these little bags…take a peek…

The bag is Lori’s Tuck Flap Favor Box (SVG, Silhouette).  The finished bag is about 4.5 x 3 x 1.75.  It’s sized perfectly to hold some chocolate kisses, or other little candies.  I pieced it together with some papers from Echo Park Paper’s My Favorite Christmas and Little Lumberjack collections.  To complete the bag I added stickers from the Christmas Gnome Stickers (SVG, Silhouette). The little gnome sticker was the perfect decoration and it keeps the bag closed!  This would also make a great teacher or coach gift too!

Have you used any of Lori’s files for you holiday gift giving?  Be sure to post them and tag Lori on Facebook and Instagram!  We love to see your creations!  That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Birthday Gift Card Bag with Corri

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing a quick project that I made for my daughter’s birthday which is actually yesterday!  I needed a last minute gift card holder and Lori’s Birthday Gift Card bag was perfect (Silhouette, SVG),

I usually love cutting out all the elements of the cut files, but since I am running a little behind getting things ready for her Birthday, I saved myself some time by just cutting the bag.

To assemble the bag, just apply glue to the glue tabs and gently bend the edges into place.  Since this design has a curve, it helps to hold it in place until the glue sets completely.  Next, attached the handles with brads.

To embellish my cute little bag in a hurry, I turned to elements from Lori’s Happiness is Homemade Collection from Echo Park.  There are so many cute pieces in the collections to easily make a simple project beautiful when you are in a time crunch.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
