A Card for a Princess

Every gal wants to be a Princess!  Isn’t that the truth?!  I still wake up in morning wishing someone would bring me my morning coffee in bed.  I can’t complain though as I am greeted by French Bulldog kisses….so in my own way that’s almost as good as being a princess.

I created today’s card with a brand new collection from Lori for Echo Park.  Our Little Princess is just the sweetest collection.  The colors are so soft and all the amazing little details to the paper.  The embellishments are swoon worthy.  So for this card, I went heavy on embellishments.  I just couldn’t resist them.  One of my favorite parts of designing, is really being able to showcase the amazing products that Lori designs.  So 100% of the time, I look at one of her SVG files and then at one of her collections….and just start creating!   I absolutely love being to design this way.  The sweet dragon in the Our Little Princess collection is my favorite and I know my little grand daughter will adore this card, even though she is already a Princess.

I used this card for the base of my design:  Box Card Envelope Castle (SVG, Silhouette). You can see how that file sparked my idea for this card.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Have a great day!

3D Witch’s Brew Bottle Tutorial

Hello everyone Brigit here! For today’s project, I’m sharing a tutorial on how I made this cute Halloween bottle which is the 3D Halloween Warlock Root Bottle, (SVG, Silhouette).

To make putting the bottle together much easier for myself I duplicated the front layer and made it .010 smaller, that is the black layer you see below. So my bottle front size width is 3.489 and I made the black piece 3.479.

It’s easier to form the shape of the sides going around the outside of this extra piece.

After forming the front with the extra piece I add the back gluing the bottom first and then the top neck sides one at a time. Then I glue the rounded sides one side at a time, it fits together perfectly this way.

Instead of using the label that came with the file, I used the Witch’s Brew (SVG, Silhouette) and did a print and cut. I first made an offset and released the inside pieces and deleted them. I then centered and grouped the label together.

I turned on the registration marks and resized the media size to 5″ x 5″ under the page setup menu and then printed. Don’t forget to select cut edge when sending it to cut.

Hope you enjoyed this project and this tutorial helped!

3D Witch Hat

Hello everyone, I have another Halloween décor project to share today! I used the new 3D Witch Hat 3 (Silhouette, SVG) and the Witch Boots (Silhouette, SVG) to create this decorative piece.

Such a fun and easy project to put together, would also look great on a tiered tray, I sized mine a little smaller so it would fit on mine.

Here’s a closer look, I added one of Lori’s 3D Flowers (Silhouette, SVG). I used paper and embellishments from Echo Park’s Halloween Magic Collection, the project was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 4.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

3D Witch Boot

Hello everyone, I love decorating for Halloween, it’s right up there with Christmas for me so I’m always looking for cutting machine projects that can be used for decor and this 3D Witch Boot, (SVGSilhouette) was the perfect addition for my tiered tray.

It went together flawlessly just took my time gluing the seams doing little sections. I absolutely love how it came out!!

The design of this boot is super cute, it’s such a unique treat box.  I resized the file down about an inch which was a perfect fit for my tiered tray. I crinkled up a strip of the paper and glued it to the inside top of the boot to make it look like fabric sticking out.

The paper and embellishments used are from Echo Park’s Halloween Magic collection which is designed by Lori, love all the cute frames, tags, and ephemera pieces. The project was cut out using my Silhouette Cameo 4. Lori also has an assembly tutorial here.

Sending Hugs Floral Envelope Box Card

Hello friends! Do you know someone that could use a pick me up? Marcia here today. Sending hugs with this cute Flower Envelope Box Card (SVG, Silhouette) really lets people know you care. I created this card using the new Echo Park Paper Farmer’s Market collection.

The sentiment that comes with this cut file was for a birthday. It is easy to substitute a different sentiment using stamps to suit your needs. You can also add ephemera die cuts and swap out the flower centers with enamel dots to add more dimension.

Check out all the other envelope box cards in Lori’s shop. Thanks so much for stopping by.
