3D Backpack Assembly

Hi Everyone!  Corri here today sharing a quick assembly tutorial for Lori’s 3d Backpack (Silhouette, SVG).  This little backpack would make a great gift for a teacher or student for back to school!

When you get the pieces cut out this is what you will have.

First, apply the pattern paper pieces to the base layer.

Using small brads, attach the straps to the backpack.

Fold along all the score lines and apply glue to the long glue tab and glue into place.  Next, apply glue to 4 small triangle glue tabs and glue to form the slanted bottom portion.  Then, fold the tabs for the bottom and glue the rectangle shape to complete the backpack. Form the pocket shape by folding into a “box” and applying glue to the tabs and then glue to the front of the backpack.  To close the backpack, pinch in the score lines on the sides and pull the flap up and over the top and secure with the tab.

It turned out so cute! You could fill it with some candy and a gift card for a teacher or some candy and small school supplies for kids.   Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Donut Worry, Be Happy!

Hi everyone! Corri here today sharing my take on Lori’s adorable donut truck box card (SVG, Silhouette).  This card is adorable and the perfect way to brighten someone’s day.

I used some solid color cardstock and some metallic paper to create this fun card.  The metal accents really make it pop.   Lori has several new food-themed box cards and they are so cute!  You can check them all out in the shop or in the Silhouette store.  For help on assembly, this post will give you general assembly instructions for Lori’s Shaped Box Cards.

Graduation Cards

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day!  With two Seniors graduating in a couple of weeks, I know I’m going to need a bunch of graduation cards.  I made Lori’s A2 Insert Graduation Card (Silhouette, SVG).  I love this card!  You can put it together in seconds and it looks awesome!  You can fit two a page and quickly assemble 10 cards.    For my second card, I cut Lori’s Gatefold Flip Card (Silhouette, SVG) and added this phrase (Silhouette, SVG).  I made the phrase into a print and cut and it turned out awesome!   Lori has several other phrases that would work great on this as well.

I hope these give you some ideas for Graduation season.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Box Card Easter Chick

Hi everyone! Corri here sharing a quick assembly tutorial for the Easter Chick Box Card (Silhouette, SVG).  These box cards are adorable and look so cute sitting out on display.

When you cut all the pieces this is what you will have:

Glue orange feet to the front egg piece and then glue to the front of the box.   Glue the second egg shape to the back of the box.

Glue the second chick shape behind the first to cover the black oval.
