Flower Pot Spring Cards

Anita here today with some lovely spring cards that Lori designed recently.  They are called A2 Center Step Card Flower Pot and you can find the cut files here in her store and here in the Silhouette Store.  This set comes with four different sentiments.  I made two and they are so easy to put together.  I used Lori Whitlock’s Celebrate Easter collection from Echo Park for this set.

Here are some close ups of the cards.  That’s it for me today.  Hope you have a chance to make something pretty today.

Hugs,

Anita

Fall Shape Card by Corri

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing my version of two of Lori’s new shape cards.  I used paper from the Echo Park – I Love Family Collection that Lori designed.

The shaped cards are so fun to make and have a huge impact.  All the work is done for you….just cut the layers and the cards go together in no time.

You can find the Pumpkin shaped card here.

I added a sticker from the collection for the sentiment and some foam dots to give the layers some dimension.

He’s so cute!  By changing the color scheme, you could make this card for any season.

Head on over to the shop to see all the new files.

Ornate Pull Out Card with Corri Garza

Hi everyone!  Corri  here today sharing one of Lori’s new Ornate Pull Out Cards.     These cards are all beautiful with their die cut borders but are very easy to put together.

I used paper from the Story of Christmas Collection from Echo Park.  I used a clear sticker for my sentiment and added a couple of wood veneer snowflakes to finish it off.  Check out all the new pull out cards in the shop!

3×3″ Pop-up cards with Traci

Hi Lori fans!  It’s Traci from Artsy Albums and I’m back to share Lori’s new pop-up cards with you.  These are quick and easy to make, and will be perfect little notecards for gifts.    Lori designed them as Valentine’s cards … but I wanted to show you how easily they can be turned into birthday, thank you, thinking of you cards, etc.

The base of the card is 3″x 3″ and it cuts out in one piece that folds up.  Lori has a simple instruction sheet for folding these little gems here.

There are several designs to choose from … the dinosaur is my favorite!  Check out those little spikes down his back!  How cute is that!?

Lori added a notch on the card so that they can stay closed, as well as base cover pieces that you can cut and then embellish the front as you wish.

As you can see, I had fun adding stickers and gems to mine!  I hope I’ve inspired you today!  I know you’ll have fun with these!

Card Sets by Christine and an International Giveaway

Please give Christine a warm welcome on the blog today! She has created an adorable card set sure to make anyone happy. Take it away Christine…
I love giving sets of cards as gifts and I like when I have a cute box to put them in.  This Stationary Box is the perfect solution.  It’s very easy to put together and you can decorate it for any occasion.  I used the Sweet Girl paper collection to cut it out, and the Layered Flowers Set 2 to decorate the front.

The box doesn’t have a handle to cut out so I decided to make my own from washi tape.  There are 3 different patterns in the Sweet Girl collection and I chose the light yellow one.  To make the handle I tore off a long piece probably about 20 inches long and did my best to keep it laying down on my desk, sticky side up.  Then I took another piece approximately the same length and stuck to the other piece so they were back to back.  The washi tape makes a really cute little handle that is strong but flexible and also matches perfectly.  After the handle was put together, I folded back the edge on both ends, punched a hole in these double layered ends with a 1/16 inch hole punch and then put a brad through the holes.  I also prepunched holes in the sides of the box so that the brads are secure inside.

Here is a closeup of the Layered Flowers.  I used some foam adhesive under some of the layers to get them dimension.  I really love the way they turned out.  I know these are files that I will be using over and over again.
Here is a card that I made to go along with the set.  The box will hold many other cards plus envelopes.  I’ll have to get busy to fill it up.  For my card, I used the 3×4 Quote Cards as the focal point.  I use these cards in my Project Life layouts but I wanted to challenge myself to use them in a different way.  I really like that it makes a perfect background for the card’s sentiment.  (Please excuse the spots on my card.  My digital camera needs to be cleaned.)
Thanks for stopping by.  I’ll be posting more pictures of my project on my blog here.
