4th of July Gnome Box Card

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with a fun card … the Box Card Gnome 4th of July (SVG, Silhouette)  …take a peek…

How cute is this little gnome??  I just love him and he goes together easily.  (For help with shaped box cards, see this post)   I added some enamel dots to the flower centers for some dimension, and the sentiment was done using the print and cut feature of my cutting machine.  He folds flat to fit in a standard A2 Envelope.   Lori has one here (SVG, Silhouette).  He looks so cute sitting on my shelf, and it would be a great card to send to a loved one to celebrate the holiday.

I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July!

A Little Gnome to Brighten Your Day!

Spring is here…Though you wouldn’t know it in Massachusetts!  We are expecting snow today, but the good news is that it’s New England and it will be spring again tomorrow.  I thought it would be fun to celebrate the season with this cute little gnome.  It’s a great card to send to someone… especially in these days of self distancing, it might just brighten someone’s day!

The Box Card Gnome Tulip Card (SVG, Silhouette) is really simple to piece together, and it folds flat to fit in an A2 Envelope for mailing! If you need a little help with the assembly, this post on how to make shaped box cards should get you pointed in the right direction!

I hope you all find a little happiness today!

Twist Pop Card with a Twist

Today I am sharing a “twist” on a twist pop card file.  Lori has several Twist Pop Card styles.  You can use any one of them to make this project.  These are the files I used.

Twist Pop Card Thank You (SVG, Silhouette)
Library Pockets (SVG, Silhouette and Silhouette)

I resized the library pockets to fit on the pop out piece where the word KIND is in the above card.  I cut out all the pieces and assembled the card using Lori’s tutorial found here. I then added the pockets. In addition, I made an insert card for each pocket.  And this is how it turned out.

I also decorated the front and back of the card.

I used papers and stickers from Lori’s Forward with Faith Collection from Echo Park.

I am writing a message on the card inserts, but you could also fill the pockets with money or gift cards!

Have a great day!

A Purr-fect Halloween Card

Only 15 more days until Halloween!!  Have you bought your candy yet?  I’m putting that off until last minute so I’m not tempted to sneak a few for myself!  I did make some Halloween Cards, including this “purr-fect” card… the Pop Up Box Card Halloween Cat (SVG, Silhouette).

I changed the design slightly… adding some green and pink papers behind the kitty’s face and I also added some silly enamel dot eyes to the spider.  It’s such a fun card, I can’t wait to send it out!  Have you made any of  Lori’s Halloween cards or projects?  Be sure to tag her on Facebook and Instagram, we would love to see your creations!  That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
