Happy Fathers Day

I am so excited to share with you Joy’s project. Are you still looking for the perfect Father’s Day gifts for the men in your life? Joy has a great idea for you. She used Lori’s shaker box file and Echo Park’s Charming paper to create this perfect gift. I want to create one for my husband as well, gift card and all as he and my dad are in the process of building sheds, one at my house and one at my parents.  Joy has provided wonderful instructions on her blog to help you create it just like her’s.

And finally, what a great way to showcase him on his special day with this ribbon. You can find it on her blog here.  She used Lori’s award ribbon and gears cutting file to create this badge of honor. She also used stamps that she created for the sayings.  Great Job Joy! I always love to see what you ladies come up with.

New Shapes at the Silhouette Store

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! On Friday I’m running in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay race. It’s a 180 mile race from Logan, UT to Park City, UT across the mountain range. My hubby and I on a couples team with 6 couples (12 people). We each run 3 legs of the race. It will be a fun challenge and you can’t beat the scenery.  I’ve been training and REALLY hope I’m ready. Let’s hope for a cloudy day on Friday so I don’t die of heat stroke : ) Wish me luck. I’ll let you know if I survive!

I’ve been busy creating some fun new shapes for the Silhouette Online store. Watch for these to show up today or tomorrow.

I have some EXCITING NEWS about my online shop that I’ll be announcing tomorrow. So, check back to see what’s up. These new shapes will be available in my SVG shop tomorrow.

Have a super day! ~Lori

Vintage Suitcase

Today, I’d like to share with you this super cute project by DT member, Joy. You can visit Joy’s original blog post HERE to read more about how she created this cute vintage suitcase using my suitcase cutting file.

I love how she has modified it from the original and made it her own.   Joy covered the buckle with Stickles. I love the extra bling that adds.

I also like how Joy used rope for the handle. Check out her blog for more info. She has great instructions on how she assembled it, including pictures. Thanks Joy, love the new project.

Show and Tell

I want to share with you some fun projects we have found on the web. First is the beautiful card by Jackie Rockwell. Her blog is “Rockwell Designs Blog”.  I love how the tree and leaves are cut both out of the colored cardstock and also the negative shape of the white circle. Such a fun way to show off the tree.

Second is Kelly Booth. I love what she has done with these baby onesie cards. Her blog is “Lovin the Life I Color”. These ladies are so clever.

Our last guest to showcase is Vera Yates (Ling) over at “Ling’s Design Studio.” I love how she created Lori’s 3D flower. It is adorable. Thanks ladies for sharing your creativity with us.

Thanks ladies for all your beautiful work. Happy crafting… Lisa

Her last project to share is this adorable money holder for a graduate. Such a fun easy way to personalize a gift card or money for the graduate on their special day. Check out Corri’s blog for more info.  Happy crafting, Lisa.
