Summer Fun Cards with Cathy

Hi everyone!  Cathy here with you today and I have a couple of fun summer shaped cards to share with you.  Both cards feature Lori’s Echo Park I Love Sunshine collection!  I love this collection, so many fun colors and patterns with super cute chipboard!  The ephemera pack is so fun, so many elements to create with.

I first created this side step card.  So easy to create and just a little bit of fun to brighten someone’s day.  This card fits easily into an A2 envelope with it’s clever folds.  I just added papers, chipboard and ephemera pieces from the I Love Sunshine collection!  After, I created this card…I saw that there were a bunch of new designs from Lori on the Silhouette Design Store, so I had to make just one more.

How cute it the A2 Shaped Sun Card?  So easy, I just added a couple of stickers and embossed some card stock for the center of the sun. Again, all of these goodies including that fun polka dot washi tape is from Lori’s Echo Park I Love Sunshine collection.  There are a bunch of new cards in Lori’s Shop and in the Silhouette Design Store.

Thanks so much for joining us today.  I hope you have a bright sunshine filled day!

Summer Page Layout with Traci

Happy Summer Lori fans!  It’s Traci and I’m back with a 12×12 page layout.  My family will be heading to the beach this summer and I’m getting a few layouts finished so that when I return, all I have to do is add my pictures!  I combined several of Lori’s new cutting files on this page … along with paper and embellies from the collection she designed for Echo Park called “I Love Sunshine”.  I DO love sunshine … and I hope this layout inspires you to scrapbook your sunny stories too!

Anniversary Keepsake with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It’s Kathy today with a fun project I created as a little something to give my parents for their 50th Anniversary.  We went on a fun trip to Maine as a family, and we’re planning a party later in the year, but I wanted to give them a little something to commemorate the day!  Take a peek…

I started with an 8×10 block of wood that I painted and sanded the corners.  The K is from Lori’s Mega Monograms Set (here in the Silhouette Store ).   I used Lori’s LW Block Font  for the other letters.  I wanted to add a bit of sparkle, so I created a slight offset for all shapes & letters and cut them from gold paper.  Here’s a close-up…

It will look perfect on their living room bookshelf!  That’s it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Here’s a video for the assembly on the recipe box. And, I just made sure the Recipe Box file is Cricut Explore friendly, so it should be super easy to work with.

I have a couple of new videos to go along with the new files this week. Several people have requested that I re-shoot the video for the 5×7 Shadow Box Cards, so I finally found a few minutes to do that which inspired me to create a few more of those cards for you. Also, I have a NEW method of assembling the Box Cards and I’ve created a video tutorial for that as well. Be sure to check out both of these new videos and all the products that are being released.

And, remember, all the NEW files are ON SALE 25% OFF through the weekend in the SVG Shop! These downloads include SVG files for sure and  PNG or PDF files when appropriate.

Lastly, don’t forget about the Link Up that is going on right now. If you’ll look at the right hand column on the blog you’ll see a place to link your SUMMER projects up for a chance to win a $15 gift card to the shop. Link ups are a great way to get people to visit your blog so be sure to add your images while you can.

Thanks for visiting the blog today! Please let us know if you need any help with your files. We want to make sure everyone is happy with their purchase. Have a great week!

Happy July 4th Card with Corri

Hi everyone!  Today I have a fun 4th of July card made with Lori’s July card from the 12 Months Cards Set.   These cards would be perfect for birthday or  “save the date” cards.

The “4th” is cut using Lori’s new Wide Marker Font.  I embellished my card with some stars and stickers from Bella Blvd.
