Stacking Base Swirls by Lezlye

Welcome to Lori’s blog! Today I have a card I made using just the Stacking Base Swirls file. These cards are so fun and can provide a great base in which to layer sentiments, flowers or even a cut out paper pieced character. I think I want every design Lori has designed!

The hardest part is deciding which colors of papers to use and in what order. You might need to cut several and play with layering them. I pulled out some coordinating flowers, brads and as an afterthought added a ribbon.

I felt this sentiment that would be good for a sympathy card, one of the hardest cards to make.

Here’s a link to the file

Digital Inspiration with Tya

Hi Everyone- It’s Tya and today I am sharing with you a digital scrapbooking page. Winter is in full swing here in Utah where I live. We have had soooo much snow this year! Thankfully I am one who really likes the snow and my family and I love to ski and snowboard and do many other winter activities. Today I am sharing a page that shows another one of our favorite winter activities- tubing! Every New Years week , my husbands family rents a cabin up in the mountains and the kids tube all day long. Its really a lot of fun. My favorite part is taking pictures of everyone zooming down the mountain – so that’s what I am sharing with you today. I loved the look of my daughters face – she looks like she is having so much fun! Lori has some great Winter themed Digital Kits over on Snap Click Supply. Here is the one I chose to use:

I used the following kit for my layout:

Thanks for stopping by today – hopefully I have inspired you to make some fun winter memories of your own and record them! Happy Crafting!

Peek a Boo Card Assembly with Corri

Hi everyone!  Corri here today sharing a quick assembly tutorial for the new Peek – a – Boo card.  I love these cute cards and there are several options available in Lori’s Shop.

When you cut the layers for the card, this is what you will end up with.

The navy layer is the card base.  Fold along the score lines so the circular tab fits inside the circle.

The two pattern papers I cut go on the card face.

The white layer is for the interior of the card.

Finally, the scallop circle is glue in place over the circular tab.  To finish your card you can use the print and cut hat included with the file or use elements from a paper collection like I did.  I used paper and stickers from the Echo Park – Little Man Collection.

Head over to Lori’s Shop to see all her new files.
