Corri is here on the blog today sharing this beautiful magazine holder! Great job Corri!
With all the cards I make, I thought Lori’s Magazine Holder would help me organize some of them.
I wanted mine to be able to hold several heavy cards so I cut it twice out of kraft card stock and glued the two layers together before assembling.
I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to print the “cards” label. The paper on my file is from the Echo Park – Sweet Girl Collection.
I was able to fit 6 fully embellished A2 cards in my file. This would be a great way to sort your cards for gift giving or would be a cute gift for a friend who loves sending out cards.
Awesome Corri, I love the idea of a gift set, it looks so beautiful together with the cards, love it!!
Such a fab idea to use 2 layers of Cardstock, I’m filing that one away for future use! Great project…tfs!
What a cute idea Corri! I love the idea of making this to fit a set of cards that you’re giving as a gift. 🙂
I have made these before, but this one is just so absolutely adorable! I love it!!!
Gorgeous Corri! Guess what? I just designed a “sleeve” for this file box. So it could be given as a gift even easier! Watch for it in the next few days. I absolutely love your idea of cutting 2 layers. Did it give you any troubles going together with double layers? Great idea! You rock!
this is lovely! esp the butterfly kisses card! nice job.
I would love to win!!
So cute!
Is the magazine holder just made out of a heavy card stock?
