“I had so much fun playing with Lori’s layout files for the blog hop that I decided to give them another try using an 8×8 format. I took Lori’s single page Summer Layout and I mixed it up a bit by rearranging all the existing elements to match a sketch I had already planned out, turning it into 2 pages. I’m telling ya… I love how many elements you get with these layout files. For my title, I couldn’t really truthfully use the word summer since my photos were taken in Hawaii during the dead of winter so I turned to Lori’s Summer Fun Titles for an alternative. I used Lori’s new “Sweet Girl” collection which she created for Echo Park. With the exception of my ivory cardstock, I actually was able to make my entire layout using the coordinating 6×6 pad! The pad has prints which are reduced in size and it worked well for my smaller sized layout. I love Lori’s little pie chart paper and how it mimics the look of beach balls to match my theme.
