Rolled Flower Tutorial with Corri

Hi everyone! Corri here today with a quick tutorial for the rolled flowers.  I love these flowers…they look great on everything!

Let’s get started…

Here’s how the flower looks when you take it off your mat.  I like to ink up the edges with some distress ink.

Next, hold the end of the spiral with a pair of tweezers.

Wrap the paper spiral around the tweezers until you have it all coiled around.

You can let the flower go now. It will uncoil slightly….apply hot glue to the center of the flower and press the spiral down on to the hot glue.  You could also use a quick dry glue but will have to hold the spiral in place while it dries.

You can use a paint brush to curl the petals.  Just roll the petals around the brush to give them a more realistic appearance.

There you have it!  Super simple and so fun to make!

Easter Egg Boxes with Angi

Hello everyone! This is Angi from Twenty Five Smiles here sharing a fun and festive idea for the Easter holidays. I used the adorable Chick Treat Box. I’m using these to decorate the table during our Easter Sunday festivities.

I used this file with a variety of colored card stock. Be sure to use springtime coordinating colors. They fit so well with the Easter theme. I did not re-size the boxes at all. They are actually the perfect size for your Easter eggs.

Once each piece is cut you can assemble your box together. Next, adhere the squares, the chick, and the egg shell. Don’t forget to add the chick’s eye and beak. Cuteness has been created!

 

Be sure to add some colorful shredded paper to your box before placing your egg inside. This makes it look like a miniature Easter egg basket.
