First order of business… we have a winner!! I used random.org to pick a winner. And, her name is….

Helen Bush from Seville, Ohio you are the winner of the Project Life Giveaway!

Congratulations Helen!!

Please send Kari Holt an email at kari@beckyhiggins.com and she’ll get the prize sent out to you.  Thanks everyone for participating in the giveaway and for joining me here at on my blog. Make sure you go pick up the freebie download on the Giveaway Post while you can still get it.

Next, on the order of business… I’m so excited to share with you some of our design team projects.  They have been hard at work showcasing some of our new files.  First up is Joy’s basket. She used the “Woven Basket” file.

I love how she used 2 different papers for the woven part. Look at how the basket starts as these pieces.

Thanks Joy, this is beautiful.  For more detailed instructions, go to her blog here

Another project Joy did was this adorable teacher gift.  She used the “3 Easter Eggs” file.  What a fun way to display the die cuts.  I love how she used pencils to display the eggs.  So clever Joy!  Go here for more information on how she made these.

The last eye candy I have to share with you today is made by Corri.  Corri used the “Birthday Cake Box” as well as other files from Lori for the card. You can visit  Corri’s blog here for more info.  As always ladies, GREAT JOB! The design team is so talented and we are so lucky to have them.  Have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend!

Note to Self – Enter to WIN!

Have you seen my new “Note to Self” collection that’s now available from Echo Park Paper?

Keep reading for a chance to WIN it!!

Note to Self was inspired by office supplies, retro imagery, with a little “hip” flair mixed in. Wrap all that up with a warm color palette and you’ve got an excellent canvas for scrapbooking and paper crafting.  It’s somewhat of a mixed media kit giving you a fun variety of patterns with a few splashes of color to keep it interesting. Combine your beautiful photos to the imagery and icons found in this collection and you’re sure to have a one of a kind treasure to help keep your memories alive. I had a blast creating “Note to Self” and I hope you all enjoy using it.

So, who would like to WIN one of two Note to Self Collection Kits? To be entered to WIN simply:

1. Subscribe to my email updates. Look at the right column and enter your email where it says “Get updates by email.” (or if that one is giving you trouble… try the one way at the bottom of my blog or the tab on the left that says “subscribe”)

2. Leave a comment on this post.

It’s that easy! I’ll choose TWO winners on Monday, April 2 and post it on my blog. (I’d choose sooner, but I’m attending my nieces wedding this weekend)

Have a great day!

~Lori

Leap Day Fun

First matter of business is to introduce myself.  I am Lisa Bell, Lori’s assistant.  We have worked together a few different times and been friends since.  I am here to lighten Lori’s load by doing the busy work so she can keep designing all those awesome projects and shapes we all love.  I am honored to be working with such a talented lady and friend.  Now that you know who I am, I can gush about all her awesomeness.  It really isn’t her talking about herself, she would never do that, but I can! I am happy to be here and sharing these awesome products with you.

Here in the office we hope you are having a wonderful Leap Day.  Are you doing anything special to mark this special day?  Don’t forget to document it so you can remember these fun times, they pass so quickly.  Just a reminder, today is the last day of our sale. Use BDAY25 as the coupon code at checkout to get 25% off your order.  This is a great way to get the “Build an Album Set” or “Build a Banner” to document this fun day. Everything is on sale, so head to the store to grab your favorite shapes.

I would like to share with you these beautiful canvases by Cammie.  I love the calming colors she used to accent the title and the butterfly, both diecuts by Lori.  Her second canvas focused on Lori’s teapot shape.  I love text on anything, so this these are pure joy to me.  More detailed instructions on creating both of these canvases can be found at Cammie’s blog.  Thanks Cammie for these great projects.  The diecut shapes used can be found in the store.

Hope your Leap Day is fabulous,  Lisa

Darling Gift Bag

I have a darling project created by Creative Team Member, Corrie to share with you today! It’s a cute little gift/treat bag using my Echo Park “Happy Days” paper and a couple of my cutting files. Here’s what Corrie has to say:

“I have a really cute gift bag to show you today that I made using Lori Whitlock’s SVG files that are available in her shop or in the Silhouette Store. I used one of Lori’s gift bag file and her new 3d flowers.  This beautiful floral paper is from Echo Park- Happy Days which Lori also designed.  I love this print….one of my favorites from this kit. The bow is also one of Lori’s new files….isn’t it the cutest thing?  I know I’m going to be using this a lot! This gift bag is the perfect size to hold a small gift or some sweet treats.”

Thanks Corrie for this darling gift bag idea! And, to all my readers, thanks so much for dropping by!!
