Halloween Lantern Set by Aimee

Hello friends! Aimee here with you today with a quick and easy Halloween project that is fun to create. And with Halloween quickly approaching you could create these in no time and they are sure to catch the eyes of your party guests or little trick or treaters!I used the Hexagon Fold Tuck Lantern (Lori Whitlock Shop, Silhouette Design Studio) to create this fun little set of Halloween lanterns. This file is so versatile it can be used for a number of celebrations!Since I was making a set,  I wanted a different height for each one. The smallest spider lantern was resized to 3″. This sweet little hanging spider svg file is part of the Halloween Icon set and can be found at the Lori Whitlock Shop or in the Silhouette Design Store.Up next is the spooky little ghost lantern which was resized to 4″ and can be found in the Cute Halloween Set found at the Lori Whitlock Shop or at the Silhouette Design Studio.And our last lantern in the set is the plump little pumpkin lantern which is cut at the normal file size at 5″. That adorable little pumpkin is also found in the Cute Halloween Set. I hope you all enjoyed these fun and adorable Halloween Lanterns!  The lanterns are so much fun to put together and decorate and are perfect for any occasion!

Hi Everyone!  Today I’m showcasing another fabulous project using Doodlebug Design’s cut files!  This fun Instax Mini Album was created by Kathy Skou for Doodlebug Design.

Kathy used the Insta-Camera File from the Hello cut file collection as the base for her album cover.

Haunted House Box Card With Brandie

Hi there friends!  I am hosting a Halloween party this year and all the Halloween crafts came out early! I love this little haunted house and knew it would make the perfect invitation for the party.

The cut file is called Shaped Box Card Haunted House. You can find it in Lori’s store and in Silhouette store.

The card has a few small parts so I recommend using a fine line bottle for gluing. I also used a ruler to make sure my windows lined up with each other, although wonky windows would be cute too! I used pop dots on the ghost, spider and porch roof. To finish everything off I added some Wink of Stella to a few places on the card.

The designer papers are from the Echo Park Bewitched collection.

School Clipboard Card with Anita

Happy Monday Everyone:

Anita here with a quick and easy fun back to school card for your favorite student.  I just love how cute this is and how easy it was to put together.  The night before the first day of school I used to give my kids a card and a treat to wish them well in the coming school year.  This card would be perfect for that.  I used Lori’s cut file called School Clipboard Card and you can find it here in her store as well as here in the Silhouette store.  I used her awesome new Echo Park line called Celebrate Autumn and her Perfect Princess line as well.  That’s it for me today.  Be sure to check out Lori’s store for all your back to school and fall card and gift giving needs.

You Rock Shadow Box Card by Aimee

Hi friends! Aimee here with you today and I have a fabulous card for those loved ones in your family who like to rock out on the guitar! I made this card for my son who loves to play guitar, bass, and drums. I am so amazed at his musical talents and want him to know that I appreciate hearing his music!

This card is the Shadow Box Card You Rock Guitar found at the Lori Whitlock store HERE or at the Silhouette Store HERE.  A couple of things I did to jazz up this card is to use a lot of patterned paper and can you believe these papers are from the Lori Whitlock Baby Boy collection? The other thing I did was add some Nuvo Gold Glimmer Paste to the “you rock”. I masked off the side frame and smoothed it right over the top of the “you rock” & lines and let it dry before I adhered my card together. I love this card so much and hope you do too!
