Strawberry Gift Set – SVG Files!

When I think of summer, for some reason I always think of strawberries.  Maybe because strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts, or because red is one of my favorite colors.  I’m not sure, but when I saw Lori’s Strawberry Bundle, I couldn’t wait to make all of the projects!  I mean, strawberries with hearts?  How cute!

For today’s project I made a gift set for a friend.  I love the little milk carton treat box tied with ribbon and a cute tag at the top.  I used paper from the Little Ladybug collection by Echo Park, and tomato card stock from Simple Stories.
I wanted to tie the two projects together so I used black and white ribbon around the top. I love a green, red, black and white color combo! I also added a few yellow Doodlebug enamel dots to the cute little flowers.

I love how this set turned out and I can’t wait to make a few more projects from this adorable bundle! I hope you are inspired to add strawberries to your list of summer projects too!  Happy crafting!

Happy Birthday Balloon Cluster Cards

Hello Crafty friends, today I have some cute quick cards to share with you!

I have chosen the 5×7 Happy Birthday Balloon Cluster Card file (SVGSilhouette) from Lori Whitlock. These were very easy, quick & fun to do! I like to have some cards on hand in my stash & these were perfect.

Not only did I make cards that were fun & bright, but I was able to add silver to blue & white or black & white to get a masculine theme! I definitley never have enough of those in my stash!
I started out by cutting out all my paper elements.
Now just a quick tip……my Silhouette Cameo doesn’t seem to like cutting fine small detail in black cardstock. I have found an easy solution to this by using black adhesive vinyl instead. Once I weed my vinyl I was able to use transfer tape to place the sentiment & the string in place quite easily. I find this process less messy too! No need to use glue to stick down those fine lines.

Next it’s just a matter of adhering all the balloons into place & using some foam tape for the front ones to get dimension, like I have, if you wish. Then I embellished with some enamel shapes to look like confetti around the balloons.
This card file makes a great activity to do with the kids! As I said, they were so easy to do!
I hope you enjoyed my cards today & give them a try for yourself!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs

30% OFF + A2 Graduation Gown Gift Card Holder Tutorial

Quick Reminder: We have a site wide 30% OFF SALE going on at the Lori Whitlock SVG SHOP through Saturday. Use coupon code:  MAY2024 at checkout.

Now we will turn the time over to Brandie…

Hello there! Graduation season is upon us. It always feels like the last few weeks of school are a whirlwind. I have two graduates to celebrate and needed something easy and cute. This A2 Graduation Gown Gift Card holder is perfect (SVGSilhouette). It’s easily customized and what graduate doesn’t love a little money.

After I uploaded the file to Cricut Design Spacae I decided I wanted to add a sentiment and the year. I typed out congratulations and 2024 in the font I liked. I resized to fit on the white sashes, adjusted the alignment, and flattened the sashes to make them a print and cut.

This cap and gown come together quickly. The front of the gown has the yellow accents for the collar and sleeves. The back of the gown also has sleeve accents, and the cap has a tassel and tiny circle to cover the top of the tassel after it is glued onto the cap.
For the pocket I glued the pocket to the inside of the back of the gown, aligning the corners to the edge of the gown so that it wouldn’t show over the edges.  I then glued the front of the gown on top of the pocket making sure not to glue the top closed.

This little cap and gown are ready for a gift card or even some cash. Thanks for stopping by today!
