Where is the summer going? I can hardly believe that we are in the second week of August. I fell in love with Lori’s Box Card Coconut Drink (SVG, Silhouette). I used some of Lori’s Echo Park Paper collections including Wish Upon a Star and Endless Summer. For my “twist”, I used a bendy straw and two-sided tape on the straw to adhere the twine. Next, I glued the bent straw to the straw outline on card SVG. It worked perfectly ! There are so many ways to kick your creations up a notch and I was happy to share this one with you today. Here is a photo of the card flat and ready for mailing.

It’s a bathing suit and flip flop kind of week up here in Massachusetts, so Lori’s new 5×7 Flip Flop Card (SVG, Silhouette) was the perfect project to make! This cute card would be great to use just because or you could change out to sentiment to make it a birthday or thank you card. Take a peek…
I pieced my version of this card together using Echo Park Paper’s Endless Summer Collectin. It is super easy to assemble, just layer the pieces, and it folds flat for mailing. It will fit in a standard A7 (5.25×7.25) envelope.
