Hi Everyone! For my project today I made the Surfing Van Box Card, (SVG, Silhouette). I used some patterned paper and stickers from Echo Park’s Endless Summer designed by Lori which was absolutely perfect for this card. These box cards are so simple to put together and definitely a favorite for those who receive them. This one is great for someone who is going on vacation or just spending a special day at the beach!

Box Card Tractor Tutorial
Anita here with a fun card tutorial to put together Lori’s Box Card Tractor (SVG, Silhouette). I made this for my grandson and used John Deere type colors as my inspiration.
Here are the pieces that I cut. Because I wanted my tractor to be yellow and green I cut extra pieces of the inner part of the box card with the seat and the engine and also the end covering pieces. I then trimmed them to fit and glued them on.
I folded the grey tractor card base on the score lines and glued the tab in place. I then put the tires together.
This photo shows how I put on the extra piece on the insert that goes in the middle of the card. To complete the card I slipped the insert into the box shape of the tractor and glued the tabs to the sides.
Here is a photo of the card lying flat all ready to be mailed. It fits into a standard A2 Envelope.
Thanks for looking and have a great day.
Hugs,
Anita
Flexi Bee Card
Hi everyone! For today’s project, I wanted to make a card for a friend. So, when I discovered that tomorrow (May 20) is World Bee Day … I was inspired. The purpose of this day is to spread awareness of the significance of bees and other pollinators for our survival. I love that and found an adorable cutting file of Lori’s called Flexi Card Bee.
How cute is this! I used black and white card stock and a few prints from the Simple Stories Full Bloom collection. The file only had 1 set of wings and they laid flat but I wanted to add a little more dimension. So, I figured out a way to make them pop up.
First, I cut an extra black bee outline from the cutting file and found some vellum to use on the backside.
Then I snipped off the extra parts so I just had the wings left. (Sorry little bee!)
I backed the wings with my vellum.
And I adhered the top area behind the wings with a small piece of black foam tape. I love to use this when I’m sticking black or dark colored papers together. You could use this sweet card for any theme, birthday, congratulations, encouragement or get well card. Here are some fun “bee” puns you could add …
- Happy Bee-day
- We Bee-long Together
- Always Bee Yourself
- We’re Meant to Bee
- Have a Bee-utiful Day
- Bee-lieve in Yourself
- Bee Happy
- Everything will Bee OK
I hope you’ll give this fun Flexi Card Bee (SVG) Flexi Bee Card (Silhouette) a try. Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
