A Sale & Projects by Corri & Amanda

First things first, I want to tell you about the sale going on loriwhitlock.com

Next up we have 2 of our Creative Team Members sharing projects with you, Corri and Amanda. Corri says…

I love hot air balloons so when I saw Lori’s new hot air balloon card I couldn’t wait to make it.

This card goes together very easily and would be perfect for almost any occasion.
I used paper from Echo Park – Hello Summer collection which Lori designed.  I love the bright colors on this collection.

Next we have Amanda sharing with us this adorable layout.

I created this page to document the fact that although my little cat likes to pretend she’s grumpy, we often catch her snuggling and grooming our other 2 cats. She’s a big softie, really!

Valentine Treat’s by Mendi and Joy

Today Mendi is here sharing Lori’s Love Story paper collection and shapes. Be sure to check out her blog.

“Using the negative image of the Damask Hearts diecut that I had leftover from last week’s layout, I was able to create a quick Valentine’s Day card using Echo Park’s Love Story collection designed by Lori.   Of course no card is complete without some treats to go with it, right?  Lori’s new Heart Top Box immediately caught my eye and it was so much fun decorating it in papers to match.  A little bling and stitching for added interest and it was done!  Both these went together so easily and yet I think they will go a long way to brighten someone’s day!”

Next Joy is sharing an adorable project from the Love Story collection as well. She says…

This is so easy you’re going to love it.  I’m using Lori’s Valentine Tote file.  It’s a breeze to put together.  I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo and Lori’s beautiful  Love Story paper.  I know I always say that it blows my mind that just a few pieces of paper can make a cool 3D project but I’m sayin’ it again!  It’s the coolest thing in the paper world to me.  This held four of my heart muffins and was really sturdy.  It’s perfect for treats for family and friends!  I have more photos and information about this project on my blog.

Gifts by Corri and a layout by Amanda

Today Corri is here sharing a beautiful card and purse set. She always does such a great job. Corri says…

I have a cute card and gift bag that I made using the Echo Park – For the Record 2 Documented collection that Lori designed.

For my card I layered some of the pattern papers and a doily that I purchased in the baking section at my local craft store.  I cut two butterflies using my Cameo from Lori’s 3 butterflies files.   I embossed the yellow one with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder and added some glitter to the turquoise one.

For the little gift bag, I cut the party purse and added a pretty layered flower from this set.

This would be a great little thank you gift or a little pick me up for a friend.  You could up some sweet treats or a gift card in the little bag.

Next I have a beautiful layout by Amanda, it even uses pictures of Amanda, isn’t she beautiful! I added the black borders for our sake to see the edges of the layout. Amanda says…

I created this layout using the Love Story line by Echo Park and Valentine’s banners, valentine’s embellishments, and love tickets.

Valentine Treats by Natalie and a pillow by Christine

Natalie has created the cutest Valentines for her kids. Wanna take a look? She used the Valentine Cards 2 file for the card. Natalie says…

Here’s a treat for you today!  I decided to make a little treat for some of my littles ones friends.  I made some homemade suckers.  And man are they good!
Once wrapped, I cut out the sucker tag. My kids added stickers and signed their names, and well, of course I didn’t get a picture of that!  What a fun little treat!

Natalie has posted the recipe and more details on her blog so be sure and check it out.

Christine has created an adorable pillow with Lori’s Vintage Baby fabric produced by Riley Blake.  It turned out SO cute.  Christine says…

I love using paper with my digital cut files, but for this project, I wanted to do something a little different.  I decided to use my Lori Whitlock die cuts and Silhouette to cut my shapes from fabric.  I had just gotten a bunch of fat quarters of Vintage Baby, which is a fabric line that Lori Whitlock designed for Riley Blake Fabrics, and I thought a small pillow with an appliqué on it would make a nice baby gift.  It is really easy to cut fabric on your Silhouette if you know how, so be sure to check out my blog post for tips and tricks to make your next appliqué project a success.

Digital Goodies by Heather and Lisa

Today at Jessica Sprague Lori has a new kit available, Valentine Brushes. This kit will be on sale at Jessica Sprague through the weekend, so be sure and grab it while it is on sale. These brushes are great for both Valentine projects as well as a way to showcase things you love, like Heather did.  She created this beautiful layout. Heather said …

I wanted to use the Valentine Brushes in an unexpected way, so I used them to scrap about my favorite season… Spring. There’s just something about Spring that makes me happy. Warmer weather, brighter colors, and let’s not forget the fabulous flowers! It’s no wonder that Spring makes me smile.
Go check out her blog here for more information.
Lisa also created an adorable project using these brushes.  I love what these 2 have done. Lisa says…

I created a pocket card filled with heart shaped confetti using Lori’s new Valentine brushes and her Kiss Me papers and elements. Come see my blog for tips on how to recreate this project for a Valentine’s Day card or your Valentine Project Life layout.
