Owl Thank You Card

Hi everyone!  It’s Traci, from Artsy Albums, and I’m back to share another project using Lori’s Sizzix dies.  I created this cute thank you card using her Owl #5 Bigz die, and a sentiment stamp from the Fox & Owl Sentiments set.

To create the card, I cut the base from a piece of folded white card stock, making sure that the paper fold was placed just under the top cutting portion of the owl’s ears.  Then, I cut each of the pieces out of pattern paper from Echo Park’s Pinstripes collection (designed by Lori) and layered them on the front of my card.

For the sentiment, I cut a frame from the Fox & Owl Sentiment set and then stamped the cute thank you phrase.  This will be the perfect little card to tell a friend how much I appreciate her!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Check out all of Lori’s awesome Sizzix dies here.

Graduation Card with Courtney

Hello! This is Courtney Lee from Court’s Crafts here with a graduation card that I made for my brother in law. You can pin this for the future or if you missed a graduation send a late card! Better late than never! 🙂

For the front of my card I cut the “green panel” a second time out of white so that I could use my Cricut pens on the front. The difference between maroons is because he went to undergrad at Harvard and just finished his post graduate work at MIT. He’s a smarty pants. 🙂

Here is what the card looks like from the side. I love the dimension and it’s amazing how it folds flat!

I added his name to the mailbox, a graduation scroll and a pile of books. The latter two were stickers in my stash. I also copied the front of the mailbox and made it smaller so that I could make it look like an open mailbox.

I added writing to the bottom of the card too so that basically all we had to do was sign it. “If only it was this easy…” refers to getting the diploma in the mail. Wouldn’t it be nice if it was that easy!? 🙂

Thank you for looking and I hope you have a beautiful day!

Oven Cookie Box Assembly

Hi everyone!  Corri here today with a quick assembly tutorial for Lori’s adorable oven cookie box.   This cute box can hold a stack of cookies plus something else in the drawer.  So fun!

Let’s get started.

The pieces in the file are sorted by color.  These are the light pink pieces which form the base of the oven box.

Fold along all the score lines, apply glue to the  tabs to make the individual boxes that form the oven.

You will end up with the lid, the oven, the two pieces that make up drawer and the little part where the oven dials go.   You can add some brads or enamel dots where the little holes are before closing up the tabs.

Glue the oven portion on top of the drawer part.  You will use cover panels to hide the seams in the next step.

Next you can cut the cover pieces (they are dark pink in the file). These can be from patterned paper.  You can cut them all on one 12 x 12 sheet.    I used this cute polka dot print from the Echo Park’s Happy Summer Collection.

Match the cover pieces up to the base layer and glue in place.

These extra panels give the box a nice finished look.

There you have it!  I hope you’ll give this fun box a try.  Be sure to stop by Lori’s SVG Shop to check out all the newly added files.
