3D Pumpkin Decor with Traci

Hi crafters! Traci here and today, I have a great project for the fall season. I made some beautiful 3D pumpkins that will add a fun shape and pattern to your home’s decor. You can place them around the house, on a mantel, or cluster them together in a centerpiece for your dining table. Perfect for Thanksgiving!

I created them using one of Lori’s amazing cutting files called 3D Pumpkin Solid Panels (SVG, Silhouette) and the Echo Park, I Love Fall Collection that she also designed. I made three and adjusted the size of the file for the last one by 30%. It’s a little smaller and so cute!

Each panel can be removed so that you can place a small battery-operated tea light inside. However, since I’m using them in a centerpiece with candles and vases, I left them out. With the cute papers and shape, they were perfect as is!

I used three 12×12 pattern papers: Plump Pumpkins, 3×4 Journaling Cards, and Crisp Fall Air. They’re fabulous and look great with the solid card stock I chose in rust, orange, cream, brown, and green.

I hope these pretty pumpkins inspire your next autumn project. They make such a wonderful display. Lori’s cutting files are simple and fun and there are so many great ones to choose from! Hop on over to her shop

Fall Inspired 5×7 House Card

Fall is finally here.  My favorite season of all and Lori has this gorgeous new collection with
Echo Park “I Love Fall”.  Beautiful autumn colors and the perfect patterns to play with, so I created a card with this fun collection.  It’s Lori’s 5×7 House Card and you can find it
here in The Silhouette Design Store.  I love how this turned out and I will send to someone special for Thanksgiving perhaps.   And since most of us don’t have 5×7 envelopes sitting around…Lori has a file for those, too.  I found it here in the Silhouette Design Store.  This collections has so many amazing embellishments and just too fun to create with!

Pumpkin Truck Back Box Card

Hello everyone. Marcia here.

Fall is officially here and I will soon be venturing to our local pumpkin patch with the family for some fun activities. For Fall wishes, The Lori Whitlock’s Pumpkin Truck Back Box Card (SVGSilhouette) is so festive. It reminds me of those trips to the pumpkin patch.

I created my truck from cardstock and added some solid pattern papers from the Echo Park Paper I Love Fall collection. I couldn’t resist adding the little racoon to my truck bed. He was cut from a die cut ephemera piece.

I know this card will put a smile on someone’s face! Best of all it folds flat for mailing. Lori has lots of other fun Fall cards in her shop. Go take a look.

Shadowbox Box Card with Traci

Hello everyone! Traci here and today I’m sharing a tutorial on how to make this spooky little Shadowbox Bat Card (SVG, Silhouette). I created this with one of Lori’s fantastic cutting files and it makes the cutest card for Halloween! What a great way to let someone know you’re thinking of them around the holiday.

Halloween Shadowbox Bat Card Tutorial

To get started, I cut out all of the base pieces first and laid them out on my craft table.

Then I adhered the pattern paper to the base card, making sure to keep the design going the right direction. I learned this the hard way when I glued my hearts upside down. 😊

Next, I added the black bat pieces to the white card stock …

I embellished the bat’s eyes with some sparkly gold gems. Then, I added a cute spider icon sticker (from Doodlebug’s Sweet & Spooky Collection) to the white spider space just below the bat’s wing.

Once all of the pieces were adhered, I slipped the white page tabs into the base card slots and glued the black base on to create a box.

I love how Lori’s box cards can stand alone to be displayed on a shelf, desk, or a counter AND … also fold flat for tucking into envelopes and mailing. So fun!

Here’s the file I used called A2 Shadowbox Card Halloween Bats …

Spider Web Treat Bag

 Hello everyone.

September is just whizzing by and in no time it is going to be Halloween, one of my favorite holidays! I wanted to make some treat bags for the little ones. Lori Whitlock’s Spider Web Treat Bag (SVGSilhouette) would allow me to embellish the bags myself using the Echo Park Paper Halloween Magic collection. They turned out Spooktacular!

I added ribbon and a tag from the die-cut ephemera pack so I could tie the bags shut.

Stickers from the sticker sheet worked well to embellish the bag fronts.
I know these bags will put a smile on someone’s face! Lori has lots of other fun Halloween bags and treat boxes in her shop. Take a look.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
