New Today!

Yep… 12 new shapes today. Whew, I think I’m gonna sleep good tonight : )

My candy box with the inserts have been so popular that I thought I’d offer more boxes in that collection. These boxes are divided inside by cute little scalloped inserts. They’re perfect for housing candy or chocolates. Can’t you just picture one of these filled with different colored M&M’s for Valentines?

I also decided it was time to create a box that requires NO GLUE!! These little babies fold together and secure themselves in no time flat. So, if you’re creating several boxes for gifts and such… this is the way to go! You can thank me later ; )

I also created a Sliding Gift Box that has a bracket flap and when you open it…. there’s a little tray/drawer that slides out. This is a great box for giving money, gift cards, a mini album, a card, jewelry, etc. It’s super cute and fun to make.

Oh, and the chapstick holder… well it’s just plain cute and what a fun little packaging idea for a little gift? I hope it comes in handy for someone.

Feel free to share your ideas over on my facebook page! I absolutely LOVE it when you all post your projects so I can see the fun things you’re creating with my files. It keeps me inspired!! Thanks so much for dropping by!

Love Banner

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! It’s been super busy here at my studio getting ready for CHA and creating all sorts of new Silhouette/SVG shapes. Today I have the CUTEST “Love” banner created by DT member Miss Carolyn King to share with you. Now that all the Christmas decorations are down it’s time to think about Valentine’s.  So, hopefully Carolyn’s banner will help you all get inspired with some Valentine’s ideas. I love that Carolyn used my Echo Park “For the Record” collection! Here’s what Carolyn has to say:

“I painted a thin piece of wood with black paint and got to work creating this:I used several of Lori’s silhouette files to help in my design: Love Banner9 HeartsBird on Branch. I used the banner to spell out the word and then used the fun hearts to suspend down from the banner using jump rings. The hearts just dangle :)”

Boxes

I’ve added several new boxes to my Silhouette Online Store and to my online shop. And, the best part… there are some tutorials to go along with those boxes that you can find HERE. Many customers have requested assembly instructions for my more complicated projects. I’m so excited to be offering those to you in the form of YouTube videos. You can go subscribe to my channel so you’ll be notified when new tutorials become available. Keep in mind that the videos are a work in progress and I hope to make them even more professional as I learn more about the process. So, please bare with me as I learn. You’re all the BEST!! Have a great day!

Stocking Stuffers?

Are you ready for Christmas? If you’re looking for a cute little “stocking stuffer or last minute “packing idea” Joy has a fabulous idea for you. I really meant to post this earlier… but I figure it’s better late than never, right? Here’s what Joy has to say:

“I used the Bracket Closure Box file to create a stacked box display.  It’s ready for gift giving or just as a cute holiday decoration!  All paper is from Echo Park’s Seasons Greetings pack and the chipboard ornaments, snowflake and button are also by Echo Park.  After cutting the boxes using my Silhouette Cameo, I just added a bit of glue to the sides, folded and the box was assembled!  You’re going to love how easy they are to put together!  I tied two of the boxes using bakers twine.  The third box is secured with a glue dot.  The adorable Santa was printed from my printer and cut with my Silhouette.  Santa comes from Lori’s Christmas Set #2.  These boxes are perfect for holding small gifts, candy or even a letter to Santa!”

We all know that presentation makes such a difference in our gift giving. With the Silhouette Cameo or whatever machine you may have, it’s really easy to create a box to make your gift look amazing. Joy  created the cutest bracket window boxes and filled them with awesome treats/gifts that would make perfect little stocking stuffers, too.

Thanks JOY for sharing these cute ideas with us!

Have fun wrapping up your holiday gift giving this year. And most of all have a very Merry Christmas, EVERYONE!!

Advent Calendar

I have a real treat for you today! Linda Auclair designed a stunning advent calendar using my Season’s Greetings collection that I designed for Echo Park Paper. You can download a handy instruction sheet that Linda put together right HERE. December is just a couple of days away… so if you’re planning to make an advent calendar… you still have some time.

This is the completed tree.

This is the wooden base that Linda found at a craft store.

Hopefully this inspires you to create something FUN today! Be sure to download the instructions HERE. I’d like to thank Linda for sharing this fabulous project with us. Please let Linda know how lovely her project is by leaving a comment for her below! Have a great day!
