Tuck Gift Card Box Tutorial

Hello and welcome to Tutorial Thursday.  I’m sharing today this great gift card box.

Tuck Gift Card Box

SVG/Silhouette

This box is fun to put together.

Here are the pieces: one box piece, 6 panel pieces, 1 gift card holder piece. For my box, I used patterned paper for all the panels.  The file includes flowers if you want to use the flowers to embellish the top.

After cutting all the pieces, you adhere all the panels to the outside of the box.

Fold along all the crease lines, ensuring the longer skinny arms are inside the box.

Fold the gift card holder piece, so the tabs are going down.

Insert the gift card holder into the middle, and attach the side arms in the notches.

Finally tuck the top flap together.

Add a gift card, and your box is ready to share.

Happy National Toilet Paper Day

Who knew this was a thing?! When I learned that my post was on National Toilet Paper day I knew I needed some toilet humor prorojects.

First I made a fun little sign for the bathroom using the Funny Bathroom Phrase Bundle (SVGSilhouette). I used the You Never Know What You Have SVG. I added some yellow ribbon on the hanger because my bathroom is decorated in grey and yellow and this sign will get a good laugh from friends when I hang it in my bathoom.

Then I added the portion of the Bathroom Rules 2 (SVGSilhouette) that instructs you to change the toilet paper to this wooden back of the toilet, toilet paper holder.
I hope you find a fun way of celebrating National Toilet Paper. Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

5×7 Santa Claus Box Card

Hi there!  Seems the summer has flown by and it’s time to start thinking about the holidays.  Lori has quite a few new Christmas files new in the shop.  So for you early Christmas card makers you can get started now.  I used her new 5×7 Santa Claus Box Card in the shop or you can find it in the Silhouette Online Design store.

I love to make Lori’s box and envelope cards, they are my favorites.  I couldn’t resist this one and I love how he came out!  They are so easy to make and they fold flat for mailing.  I’m hoping to get an early start on my Christmas cards with these adorable files.  Wish me luck! ~Cathy
