New Chipboard Village Halloween Add-on & 30% Off Ends Tomorrow!

Did you create my Chipboard Village last Christmas?  Now we have 3D Chipboard Village Halloween Add On (SVG, Silhouette – coming soon)  which is full of cute little trick-or-treaters, spooky trees and lots of bats and pumpkins!  Take a peek…

The add-on is a one page print and cut file, and meant to be printed on sticker paper and backed with cardstock or it can be printed directly on cardstock.  These all coordinate perfectly with the Chipboard Village Houses that I created in conjunction with Silhouette America last year. You can find the Christmas Village along with links to supply lists and tutorials in my SVG Shop here.  The houses are also available individually in the Silhouette Store (Farmhouse, Manor, Church, Cottage, General Store).

Not-So-Scary Halloween Treats

Hi there paper crafting friends!  It’s Michelle Starcher, aka the Bookish Designer, hopping onto the blog to share a cute Halloween gift idea using the 3D Candy Corn Jack O’Lantern (SVG, Silhouette) with a coordinating card, the A2 Halloween Card Ghost (SVG, Silhouette). I know I am sure to make someone smile this Halloween with this adorable duo.

This cute candy corn has a lid that opens so you can fill it with candy corns or other small candies.  The candy corn is about 3″ tall and 2.5″ wide at its widest point when you use the original file size.  However, you could increase the size to about 3.5″ x 4″ if you turn the box base diagonal, and the base would still fit on a 12X12 piece of Cardstock.  You can see the size difference in the image below (bottom candy corn is the original file size).  If you decide to enlarge the file, just be sure to increase all the pieces at the same time to keep the ratios the same.

For the card, I used patterned paper from Lori’s Halloween Magic collection for the card base.  I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to place inside the card, so I would have a place to write my sentiments since the patterned paper was double-sided.  I used foam tape on the ghost, moon, and jack o’lantern to give the card some dimension. This adorable card that folds flat and fits in the included A2 envelope.
