Christmas is Just Around the Corner

Did you know it’s only 59 days until Christmas? I know a lot of you are working on your Christmas cards and planning out your Christmas crafting projects, gifts, etc. I’ve been working on some Christmas cutting files for your crafting pleasure. They are available HERE. Check out the super cute Gingerbread House! This one took a while to engineer, but I’m really pleased with how it turned out. I have to say, a photo just doesn’t do it justice. It’s much cuter in person : ) And, incase you’re wondering, I used my Everybody Loves Christmas paper collection (published by Echo Park Paper).

I’ll be announcing the members of my brand new very first Design Team on Wednesday. So, keep an eye out!

Apple Orchard

Carolyn King  sent this darling mini album to me the other day and I asked her if I could share it on my blog. Her mini album documents a fall trip to the apple orchard. And, what I love most about Carolyn’s album is that she used so many of my diecut shapes. The shapes she used are currently available in my Silhouette Online Store. If anyone has a different cutting machine and would like me to upload the SVG/DXF files to the Lori Whitlock Store, please contact me and let me know. I hope you enjoy Carolyn’s mini album. Design Team Call

Yes, it’s true. Just last week Tamara of Happy Life Crafty Wife joined forces with me as my first Design Team member. I’m beyond thrilled to have her working with me. Now, we’re looking for 2-3 more talented crafters (that use cutting files) to join us! If you think you might be interested take a look at the qualifications below. Good luck to everyone that applies! And, please spread the word to anyone that might want to come play with us!

  • Looking for 2-3 more crafters.
  • Blog is a MUST.
  • Facebook user is a plus.
  • Must be able to provide 2-3 projects a month.
  • Sewing is a plus.. but not a requirement.
  • Good photo skills, can get clear and properly exposed pictures.
  • Willing to participate in blog hops.
  • Die cutting is a MUST. You will have to use the majority of Lori’s files in your projects.
  • Open to crafters worldwide!
  • Designers need to commit to 6 months.
  • Send your ‘application’ to info@loriwhitlock.com with 3-4 samples of your work and tell her a bit about yourself!

Halloween Box Challenge/Giveaway

Halloween is just around the corner (exactly 28 days according to my 6-year-old)!! To get in the spirit, the over-the-top talented Tamara of Happy Life Crafty Wife and I are issuing a challenge to everyone that would like to participate! So, put on your spooky thinking caps and get ready to have some fun. Did I mention that there’s PRIZES??

For today’s challenge I’ve created two fun Halloween goodie boxes for you to download for FREE (during the challenge)! The download includes an SVG and DXF file for each box.

Use either the ghost OR the cobweb giftbox.. or both, if you’d like! You can keep them simple, or go totally all out! It’s up to you, as long as at least one of these boxes is used on your project! Don’t worry… Tamara has not left you without some amazing inspiration… she as created the CUTEST cobweb box to help get your creative juices flowing.
