Graduation

Happy Monday! I’ve been in Texas this week visiting my parents and my brother’s family. I’ll be home tomorrow. About 3 weeks ago I got sick with some sort of cold virus that has been the nastiest bug I’ve ever had. It’s taken 3 weeks for it to clear up and for me to feel fairly “normal” again. My girls have also been off track. So, needless to say, I’m ready to get back to my exercise and work routine and get the kids back in school.
This has been a fabulous few days in Texas giving me time to relax, spend time with my family, go shopping, eat out, visit and just enjoy life for a few days. I think being sick makes me realize how thankful I am for my blessings and my health. I’m supposed to run the Wasatch Back RAGNAR race in just 6 weeks. I’ve got to get back in shape and ready for that race, too!
Today I have a darling project by Design Team Member, Corri. She’s used my Echo Park “This & That” Collection along with my graduation cap cutting file and my matchbook cutting file. I love how these projects have turned out so masculine and perfect for giving to a graduating boy.
Here’s what Corri has to say:
“I used the Match Book card file along with Lori’s Graduation cap and gift bag.  The matchbook card opens open with a little pocket to hold a gift card or other small treat inside.  I also used some sticers from the paper collection to dress up my gift bag.  Our nephew graduates from high school next month and this will be perfect for his cash and a small little gift.”
You can go visit Corri’s post HERE.
Have a lovely day! ~Lori

“Note To Self” Project

Today I want to share with you this project by the fabulous Carloyn King.  She has showcased Echo Park’s recent collection “Note To Self,” designed by Lori, as well as the some of Lori’s cut files.

This box is the “Milk Carton” found here.  Great Job Carolyn! Thank you for your inspiration!  For more information, check out Carolyn’s blog here.

Menu Board

Today we have a Menu Board for you made by Joy.  The “Menu Title” is one of Lori’s cut files found in the shop here.

Joy has detailed instructions at her blog on how she created this dry erase menu board as well as some great tips for using vinyl.  Thanks for sharing Joy, this is beautiful.
