Library Pocket Card Sailboat and matching Gift Box

Hello Everyone:

Anita here with a fun project which Lori designed recently called Library Pocket Card Sailboat.  You can find the file here in her SVG Shop and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I also made the matching Gift Box Sailboat which you can find here in Lori’s SVG Shop and here in the Silhouette Design store.  I used some of Lori’s Echo Park Paper collections for this project including All Boy, My Favorite Christmas and I Love Summer.  I used the print and cut feature for the library card itself.  I’m sure my nephew will love his box which I will also put some treats into for him.

3D Backpack Assembly

Hi Everyone!  Corri here today sharing a quick assembly tutorial for Lori’s 3d Backpack (Silhouette, SVG).  This little backpack would make a great gift for a teacher or student for back to school!

When you get the pieces cut out this is what you will have.

First, apply the pattern paper pieces to the base layer.

Using small brads, attach the straps to the backpack.

Fold along all the score lines and apply glue to the long glue tab and glue into place.  Next, apply glue to 4 small triangle glue tabs and glue to form the slanted bottom portion.  Then, fold the tabs for the bottom and glue the rectangle shape to complete the backpack. Form the pocket shape by folding into a “box” and applying glue to the tabs and then glue to the front of the backpack.  To close the backpack, pinch in the score lines on the sides and pull the flap up and over the top and secure with the tab.

It turned out so cute! You could fill it with some candy and a gift card for a teacher or some candy and small school supplies for kids.   Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Birthday Hat Gift Set

Hello crafty friends! Aimee here with you today and I’m bringing you a fun and crafty way to celebrate a birthday. Lori has new matching Library Pocket Cards and Gift Boxes that have the cutest images for different occasions. My project for a birthday is the Gift Box Birthday Hat (Lori’s SVG Shop, Sihouette) and the Library Pocket Card Birthday Hat (Lori’s SVG Shop, Silhouette).

You could make this birthday duo fit anyone’s birthday according to which papers you used. I used some summery and tropical colors for mine because I have a family birthday coming up soon but this could easily be pink for a girl’s birthday or navy and maroon for a Dad birthday.  The card insert is done using the print and cut feature of your machine.
