Watering Can Favor Box Tutorial

Hello everyone, I have a quick and easy tutorial to share with you today! This watering can favor box (SVG, Silhouette) makes such a pretty gift and it’s so simple to put together. I just love making little boxes like this and filling them with candies to give to someone special!

I made a mirror left or right copy of the handle and spout so I could glue them together just to make them a little more sturdy and to have the same paper pattern on both sides.

Here are the pieces cut out and score lines all folded. The patterned paper used here is from Echo Park’s Easter Wishes collection, there are some lovely papers in this collection that can be used for non-Easter projects, the cute little tag I used is from the ephemera frames and tags pack of the collection.

I glued the box together and also glued the handle and spout together folding out the tabs so they can be glued on each side of the box. The blue flower is glued down to the yellow piece first then pink and white last and I added the leaves to the back of the flowers and then glued them to the box.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Cookie Boxes for Summer

Hi everyone! Today, I’m sharing a cute project that I made for cookies! 🍪 But, you could use these for any yummy treat like donuts, candy, small toys, etc. I made 2 summer inspired boxes that would be perfect for gifting homemade goodies or use them as party favors. Because they’re so colorful, fun and have such cute tags … they would also look great displayed on a table for a party or summer BBQ.

To make them, I chose one of Lori Whitlock’s awesome cutting files called Cookie Box Thank You (SVG, Silhouette) and the Echo Park paper collection called Endless Summer, also designed by Lori. The colors and patterns are bright and cheerful. Perfect for summer!

I cut the base of each box out of 12×12 solid card stock from the Endless Summer collection – one in blue and the other in red. Then I covered the top and the sides with prints from the 6×6 paper pad. For the blue box, I made the tag using the scalloped circle that came with the cutting file and the Hello Summer die cut from the ephemera. Cute!

For the red box, I used the Summer Days tag from the Frames and Tags package and tied each box with some pretty Doodlebug twine.

Inside, I added a cute doily to lay the cookies on for little extra fun. These are by Doodlebug Design and they’re about 4 1/2″. I chose white and red doilies and they fit perfectly inside.

These boxes can be made with ANY paper collection to change up the theme. Imagine holiday, birthday and all the different seasons you could use for these! They make beautiful homemade (and yummy!) gifts for Mother’s Day, a thank you, welcome to the neighborhood, teacher, dog walker, co-worker or hostess.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope these inspire you to make some cookie boxes of your own!

Easter Bunny Card and Gift Box

Hi friends! I’m popping in today with an Easter gift idea. This card and box come together quickly with minimal supplies and the bunny and sentiment can be a print and cut. I used the Impossible Easter Bunny card (SVG, Silhouette) and the Easter Window Box Egg (SVG, Silhouette).  This card and box are also available in a religious theme as well if that is something you prefer. Impossible Card Easter Cross (SVG, Silhouette) and Easter Window Box Cross (SVG, Silhouette). I filled my box with jellybeans, but any small treats would work. The papers are from the Easter Wishes collection by Echo Park Paper Co.

I wish you all a Happy Easter and thanks for stopping by!
