“Note To Self” Project

Today I want to share with you this project by the fabulous Carloyn King.  She has showcased Echo Park’s recent collection “Note To Self,” designed by Lori, as well as the some of Lori’s cut files.

This box is the “Milk Carton” found here.  Great Job Carolyn! Thank you for your inspiration!  For more information, check out Carolyn’s blog here.

Vintage Baby

Today is a very exciting day! My very first fabric collection is now available for purchase! You can find it at the Fat Quarter Shop right HERE. It’s been a several month process… but the day has finally come. Just about a year ago I signed a fabric contract with Riley Blake Designs. They are a wonderful fabric company and I am so thrilled to be partnered with them for my fabric designs. After joining them, I moved into action designing Vintage Baby. After the artwork was approved, it moved into production. This phase takes quite a long time as it’s produced overseas and the process is quite extensive.

This is a little sampling of Vintage Baby. It’s a sweet collection of fabrics that are just perfect for a project for a little girl. I was just told that I can go pick up my samples today and I can’t wait to start playing with it! I’ll take more photos and post them once I have more fabric on hand.

Just a little heads up… I’m working on a pattern to go with this collection that I’ll be releasing shortly. I just need to finish it up and it will soon be available.

I really appreciate everyone’s support. It makes designing so fun to know that my work actually inspires someone and is enjoyable to use. Seriously, you’re the BEST!! Thank you!!

Menu Board

Today we have a Menu Board for you made by Joy.  The “Menu Title” is one of Lori’s cut files found in the shop here.

Joy has detailed instructions at her blog on how she created this dry erase menu board as well as some great tips for using vinyl.  Thanks for sharing Joy, this is beautiful.

New Products and memo holder

Lots of new shapes in the shop today.  Check out all the options for cards with matching envelopes.

Also, I wanted to share this cute project by our design team member Cammie.  I love it.  She made the cutest shopping list.  This would be so cute on the fridge and help it not look like clutter, but instead a decoration in your kitchen.  Great work Cammie.  For more info go to her blog here

happy cutting… Lisa
